i will wonder if they will assign one player to just shadow the qb today. if there was ever a time and game for assignment sound football , this would be the game

Everyone on the NFL Network picked the niners to win.
Kaep gets u's this win, and at least for the rest of this season, I'm sold.

Won against new Orleans, Chicago, new England. If he can do it in Seattle, not only would he have played in the loudest place in the NFL, but against the top 5 defense as well.

This is a big test for him right before the playoffs.

Win this he's ready, a loss, well I don't even wanna think about it.

Go Niners!

ck will help us get this win so if the team loses tonight, what do you not want to think about? if we lose well, then we just have to beat the cards next week and we are the champs. if he throws five picks and fumbles five times in the first half, then you have a worry. i think ck has built up some capital in the last few games

Great...another segment about how "underrated" the midget is.

NFC Championship matchup?? 49ers have the edge but Gore will need to make some hard yards early cuz it will be deafening. The seahawks have given up 4 4th quarter comebacks so far this season, so time for another do u think??

-I think Crabtree will have a big game
- Bobby Wagner could be targeted in the run game
- And I think a few Kaep back side runs could come in handy :)

I tried writing an unbiased preview if anyone wants to have a look, all the way from northern ireland :)

Nice read. I forgot about how good Gore was with those trap blocks and our receivers blocking for him in that game :)

When NFL clubs set their game plans, they study the last four tapes of the opposition. That's how they chart tendencies, set their play cards for practice and begin to breakdown personnel, formations, etc. However, when you matchup with a divisional opponent for the second time in a season, that first game tape in valuable to seeing how they scripted the call sheet on both side of the ball.

Take the 49ers-Seahawks matchup back in Week 7. What is on the tape that can prep a player for the game tomorrow night in Seattle? Is there a certain formation, alignment or even a personnel grouping on the field that can give you a quick pre-snap key to go make a play?

Using that tape, here is an example of how the Seahawks were in position to pick up an explosive play in Week 7. Let's take a look at the All-22 cut-ups and focus on what the Niners' defense can look for tomorrow night.

Seahawks vs. 49ers Personnel: Posse (3WR-1TE-1RB) Formation: Doubles Slot "Dakota" Route: Rail ("Pick") Defensive Scheme: Cover 1 "Rover"

Great article.

They ran a similar play that same game picking Cox. They love their downfield shenanigans on both sides on the ball.

Right. He's toast. They've just been working the legal system to make sure they had one starter in there at a time. He'll be gone for next week's game, their one-and-done road playoff game, and the first two games of next season. He'll be watching from the sidelines as they lose their road playoff game and get knocked out. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I hope that Fangio has figured out a better way to cover that play above. The Niners can't count on that running back dropping a pass for a second time in a row.
Supposed to be raining all game boys with about 40 degree weather. Let's rain on their parade so the Seabiotch fans can go home cold, wet, and disappointed.

I dont wanna think about if we arent the no 2 seed. I dont wanna think about having to play in wild card weekend. I wouldnt wanna think about going into the playoffs on a sour note. And seattle is a good test, so it's not that simple in my eyes of if we just lose then we beat the cards, and that trumps, and just go on to arizona.

We are expected to win that game, not too mention in our home, so a loss today would mess up our playoff seeding. Would be close to a playoff type enviornment. Thats why i dont wanna think about a loss. Even Mooch said on NFL total access during the week. Kaep definitley has shown he can get it done, huge test in Seattle. This is our year, and today is a big test for our entire team, and coaching staff.

I believe in em tho as always. Go NINers

cuz a win today and Kaep would have led us to a win not only against a good team, but top 2 in hostile enviornments (where the noise is a factor and going with the silent count snaps), as well as to 5 defense. So this game has huge implications. Not like a team in the past where QB is good, but defense is ranked near bottom half of league. I think he can get it done, we just gotta believe.
