How will the Packers attack the 49ers?

they will try to throw on our secondary so im thinking quick slants and intermediate to deep routes. they know they cant run on us and our db's are the weakest link in our defense. that being said our front seven will eat him alive. all that scrambling wont save him against our LBs and D-line
3 yards and a cloud of dust. I'm sure they will run every down to confuse the Niners. LOL How do the Packers attack every team they play. They put the ball in Rodgers hands and let him make plays throwing the ball down the field. Sunday will be no different.
they will try to stop VD but will fail

I could see them running out of spread formations to keep SF off balance.
edit, wrong thread

Lots of short & intermediate throws w/ a little running to mix it up.

I see Rodgers rolling out away from the Smiths
the packers offense is overrated what people fail to realize is they beneited from an extremely favorable schedule they played 9 of the bottom 11 defense and played no top 10 defenses last year

the best defensive team they faced was the #11 ranked cheifs

his stat line for that game was 17/35 (48.6 comp %) 1 TD 0 int

also happened to be their only loss and scored 14 points

im not saying they arent a top offensive team but yes they are definitally overrated

The only thing overrated is this argument. They also played football in 2010 and guess what? They were fantastic on offense.... in fact won the Super Bowl. They have only got better since then. And if you think They are overrated because of these stats you have to also say the 49ers defense is overrated playing the NFC west offenses 6 times last year. Neither are true.

I don't think he's saying they actually suck on offense, just that they aren't the completly unstoppable juggernaut of an offense that everyone makes them out to be. If they never played a top 10 defense last year and lost to the best defense they played (#11), then it stands to reason they will not throw for 400 yards and score 40 points as so many people seem to think going off who they played last year.

Sit Rogers, run the triple option out of the wing-t, and hope Alex Smith throws 8 INT's.

Run out of spread formations, 4+5 WRs.

Knowing the 49ers would probably be over agressive I'm sure something would open up down field.

in 2010 they were lead by one of the best pass defenses theyre offense was good but not fantastic as you say they averaged abour 24.25 points a game for comparision only 1 poinit more than we scored season (2010 packers scored 8 more points than 2011 49ers) so no they were not fantastic as you claim

and they are overrated as i said they are still a top 3 offensive team but they are not the unstopppable force everyone claims they are you cant dis-guard the fact that when they played a good defense they lost and didnt score much

Greg Jennings was out that game.

As to whether or not they're overrated it's a whole new year. Does the addition of Benson improve their running game? Does the line get better with another year of seasoning. Does Jermichael Finley return to form after a full year of recovery from his knee injury?

They're going to be top 5 but just how dynamic they end up has some variables .

Their passing offense can be the greatest thing since sliced bread but if we get consistant pressure we're going to win that battle. It's the reason why the Giants are 2 Super Bowl champs right now. I definetily like our chances against Green Bay I just wouldn't classify Green Bay's offense as overrated. One dimensial without a doubt, and generally tends to lead to an early exit.
