You're probably right he's a long stride guy. He should hopefully help us in the red zone area, Im not sure how much home run plays he has left in him.

I remember hearing a comment from one of the DBs in the off season saying that Moss' speed is deceiving because of the long strides.

And I'm sure Moss isn't running 100%, as in game speed. It'll be interesting to see how much Harbaugh uses him on Friday

if i were harbaugh and hes showed enough in practice i wouldnt use him at all

he can be our secret wepon so to speak and especially since we start off with 2 tough opponents a secret weapon can be usefull

if i were harbaugh and hes showed enough in practice i wouldnt use him at all

That makes sense, but so does showing him off to alert other DCs that he's a viable option, opening up the middle for the running game and short passing game. I remain on the fence.

we as fans may not like it but guys like gore, moss, willis and justin smith do need to play a bit in the pre season. I remember last year we all wanted gore just to set down for the entire pre season but I guess that is not realiistic. Moss is a vet and a pro but he does need to get hit a couple of times, it has been a while since that has happened

That, and Moss ran a 4.39-4.4 for another team 5 months ago. He probably lost all that speed by now... or maybe he's already doggin' it.
