well he is what..35?

That, and Moss ran a 4.39-4.4 for another team 5 months ago. He probably lost all that speed by now... or maybe he's already doggin' it.

Thats probably some misleading info his agent put out there.

says League Sources. Odd name for an agent, but maybe his momma didn't like him.

peter king and bucky brooks both said moss and 49ers offense looks great

both have been notorious for criticizing 49ers

bucky brooks in particular has been pretty passionate about his dislike for alex yet he said alex looks much improved and they will be explosive offense WITH MOSS

we shall see but 49ers bringing in an old WR in the end of their career has been done before.

I'm not expecting much from Moss if he can get us some red zone tds I'd be happy with that.

thats what i expecting to

i dot see more than 500 to 600 yards but he will strech the field and will take a saftey with him allowing crabtree manningham and VD to do their thing underneath where they are most effective

We've definitely brought in a plethora of washed up veteran receivers, but I think Moss is in a different category. And none of those guys have had this kind of positive momentum like Moss has had. Plus, Alex is much better than he has been or any other starting QB the 9ers have put out on the field for over a decade. So it's definitely smart to keep some guarded optimism, but this situation is unique.

35 is not that old for a physical specimen like moss. As long as he puts in the work he will dominate

Same here. The system alone may not allow Moss to have crazy numbers... but I suspect that he can put up some very nice ones.

He may just surprise us and have a huge season.

I know but u have to keep in mind he's 1 year of football and 2 years ago he was really really bad

1 year out of football doesn't mean much to me if he had 13 years of excellence prior to that with no injury history to speak of. I don't think his 1 bad year was due to a lack of talent, but rather he was upset he got traded to a non contender and mailed it in. I think that was obvious.

Frank Gore, whose insight and scouting ability has been cited by former GMs & coaches, was asked which 49ers would medal in the 100M dash. Gore said he thought Ted Ginn, jr. would take the gold. He said Vernon Davis would get silver and laMichael James would go home with the bronze. He said he wasn't sure where Randy Moss would finish.

Eric Branch ‏@Eric_Branch #49ers Colin Kaepernick was more expansive when asked about his preseason goal: "To go and show that I can be a starter in this league."
