I am not clicking on any links as I don't really take Donte srsly anymore. I don't feel like it's respectful either to make a public statement that isn't official.

Donte should be more clear, especially in this day and age.

If you take conspiracy s**t out of it, it just seems that we have some immature POS still living in the social media age not knowing how to handle a traumatic situation. "Hey Donte, look what's going with Aldon man... crazy huh???..."

So from Donte's perspective...I'm guessing, like any investigation, exposing additional people at the scene is important, as well as video footage. Additional people were there, that we didn't know about before.. based off media reports or Aldon's friend's story...

Now if you want to put on a conspiracy cap.... then yeah, there could be a story there where they don't want to be held liable for their actions....or judged for their inactions.

Donte Whitner is an attention whore. If he really cared about Aldon and Aldon's family, he would have reached out to them privately about the pictures/videos he supposedly saw.

I don't get Donte's angle here at all. No need to call CJ Spillman out like that on social media. If you don't like him sharing pictures then keep it between yourself and CJ or at the very least don't mention his name.

No one is going to tell Donte anything going forward that they don't want the world to know.

His podcast blocked me on twitter because I called him out for his BS with Brown. It was clear to me then the guy wants to be like Grant but as a former player.

I respected his game but I have no respect for someone who won't keep personal things off the air unless someone gives you the go ahead to do that. Brown didn't and Whitner blasted it on his pod. I'm confident Spillman didn't want him bringing that up too and it made the pod.

That's loser behavior IMO. I don't disagree that people shouldn't have been taking those pictures and passing them around so freely but there is a way to say that without bringing up names and specifics that Aldon's family may not want out there.

I wonder if this type of thing was going on behind the scenes and caused the 49ers to stop using him on the pre game show.

I lost some respect for Donte today. Even if he has all the facts right, he's still going about it the wrong way imo.

Yeah, hit the nail on the head, wanting to be another Grant when one is already too many. I always have liked Donte until now, this is just not respectable behavior. I wish Donte took the high road and just talked about how Aldon was as a player and what is was like being teammates with him, etc. That he was doing something honorable, feeding the homeless and gone too soon. Donte could have done a lovely piece about him. But he decides to be an ass. Done with Donte.
