Gonna go re-watch that game against pittsburgh. You know the one, where the Defense took over the game to an extent that has rarely ever been seen before or since? Yeah, That one. That was "Prime Aldon".

Though someone posted a recent interview which sounds very sad in hindsight. Still don't know what happened but hard to imagine it wasn't self inflicted.
I hate going there but I always wonder what happens if Kaepernick doesn't steal his gf. Maybe it wasn't any big deal or maybe it was enough of a push to derail his career and I imagine that wasn't great for mental health basically knowing what could've been. Just very sad.

Am I going to get a ban for calling out your BS, since you're a mod now?
You're not the genius you think you are, if you would have done the research about how all that went down, you wouldn't say that stupid s**t. I've corrected many folks on here about that for years now, YET yall just don't want to accept the truth...and just prefer to have reasons to bash a past player.
It's f**king pathetic that our fanbase still does this s**t... yall are some horrible f**king people... like legit bad people. This isn't the first time on this forum.
She left Aldon (we probably know the reason)... and dated someone else.... a year plus went by she, broke up with that other person...and THEN she got close to Kap.
Kap was mature and knew what he wanted, he was ready. Aldon, when dating her, was not at that place....and he wasn't at the place for a long time. At the expense of her mental health, should she have stayed with Aldon? For his career's sake, for the 9ers and fans sake? Of course not. What ever it was that she had with Kap years later, it worked out. They are still together...have a child.
For folks to use Aldon's death as an excuse to ONCE AGAIN take a swipe at Kaepernick is just pathetic... BUT NOT SURPRISING!
As a mod you should set an example of how you want you members to behave.... but no that has never been the case around here with some mods.. Kolohe, Phoenix. They are not mods anymore. That might be a hint for you genius, but you're too prideful.
I had a close friend who went the same path as Aldon, but got killed being in a bad situation. It didn't matter fun he was as a person... it didn't matter how nice he treated people around him...it didn't matter how unique he was as a person, interested in different hobbies...reading... (like I'm sure Aldon was behind the addiction).... it doesn't matter... once someone gets caught up in that, even with good people/support around them... sometimes it is not enough.
Many of us knew in the back of our minds Aldon was heading in this direction.... we've seen it before. And worse, I had a co-worker who was a great person... bad situation happened with his other job..and then he broke up with his girlfriend (yet she still stayed in his apartment)... that f**ked with him and he got to drinking. Years pass and he had stomach problems and lost his secure City and County job.... but what happens? Some time passes and he finds someone new. He falls in love...he's happy... he has a baby. What a turn around. This is all he wanted.... but all those years of drinking f**ked up his body and he died before his kid turned one. It's been some time since he passed but we still have a picture of him, with his wife and kid, in our main work area...
What ever someone might be going through (relationship, school, work, friends)... it is a moment... it can be a week, a month, or year... but there is a good chance it will get better. What you don't want to do is mess up your health when you are down...you think about your future and how it will somehow get better. Because when it does get better, you want to make sure you can enjoy it. 😕
R.I.P. Aldon..
It was a small comment not bashing Kaepernick as a player. And no you can respond to me without getting banned but if you throw in personal insults while doing so there will be responses like there would be in any case.

You can reason that away however you want but calling other people who disagree with you legit bad people isn't the moral high ground you think you're taking.
Btw since you went way in to call me out on bad info I double checked.
Aldon and Nessa were still dating in April of 2015
https://www.bustle.com/articles/76046-girl-code-star-nessa-talks-49ers-boyfriend-aldon-smith-what-not-to-do-on-a
I'm happy for Kap and Nessa, obviously they were a good fit and living a great life together. I can respect that and still think it was a crappy move that broke bro code and disrupted things in the locker room.
Like I said you're free to disagree but watch your responses and keep personal stuff out of it.

Anyone with connections to the team around that time knows this. There were fights between ALDON/his teamamtes with Kap over all this that year that were never reported to the media. One of fights happened during mandatory minicamp. Tomsula cancelled the rest of minicamp over it and didn't tell the media why. Kap absolutely carries part of the blame for Aldon spiraling out of control.

Kap's upcoming book will be interesting if he includes any details regarding the gf situation.

Perhaps he could have been saved with the proper mental health counseling. Plus drug and alcohol rehab. It's way beyond his player days. Which he certainly could have been great too. If he was not so troubled. Just a terrible situation all the way around.
To be fair we don't know what happened. I assumed it was self inflicted due to that recent interview but if you read what happened that day he was delivering pizza to a charity thing just hours prior.
Let's at least wait to see what they say was the cause of death first. Maybe it was an OD. Maybe it was a health situation.

Yeah it could be either. But also if you spend years and years of heavy drinking and alcohol that effects your organs like heart and liver. Drugs can damage the heart. Like cocaine for example. Alcohol the liver obviously. So it can kill you from years of damage too. Not just an on the day overdose. Which it could have been. Since he has been found very similar like that before. But yes wait and see the details. They would probably do an autopsy and check the blood for whatever may have been there. Or organ damage from years of substance abuse.

It was a small comment not bashing Kaepernick as a player. And no you can respond to me without getting banned but if you throw in personal insults while doing so there will be responses like there would be in any case.
I'm aware of the circumstances and bro code still applies. They were teammates and Kap still decided to date an ex of his teammate.
You can reason that away however you want but calling other people who disagree with you legit bad people isn't the moral high ground you think you're taking.
It's still a horrible thing to bring up... he didn't steal Aldon's girl... they broke up in 2015....Aldon's actions caused himself to lose Nessa (or any self respecting woman)
Kap and Nessa made their relationship public in 2016. She dated someone else between that time frame..
Bro code in this sense is an insecure old immature mentality...
She found her soul mate, and so did Kap. It wasn't some friend with benefits s**t...or just the type of "dating" you see now a days by celebrities or athletes.. where it is for show...publicity and then leave and start the next hot gossip.
I've told folks in the past... you want to date my ex? Go ahead, but if you're just doing it to f**k with her head and play games...just to say "hey I f**ked Af's ex.." then we have a problem. Many other girls to choose from. But if there is a serious attempt to build something, then all good. If both are good people (even if it didn't work out for me), why deprive them of a potential love?...in this world where relationships are in the s**ts in the western world...
Again it's unnecessary to bring up.. it's unnecessary to bring attention to a mother and wife. To have the immature little twitter 9er fan s**ts to blow her up platform just saying insensitive incorrect s**t.
Have you lived a bit? Have you known women who have had an ex-boyfriend/partner die tragically? The few times I've seen it, they are still heartbroken when it happens.....and there's nothing wrong with that. So you can imagine how she is feeling right now?? She saw potential in Aldon (like we all did, he was a different type of dude)..she saw the good side of him...and tried to get him to get away from the bad side.
Anyway.... YOU chose to steer this thread a different direction....with something that wasn't true ("Kap stole Aldon's girl")....in Aldon's thread update of his unfortunate death.
I'll be done with it on my end and we can go back to speaking about Aldon.
