I don't think there is anything specific to the story. I think Harbaugh just wants to beat anyone on the other side of the field.............. Unless it's Schwartz lololololol

Don't care. Don't worry about that.

^^^ I love it... Can't wait to see all the excuses Saint fans are going to have when they lose to a team that can only score field goals

Also, I'm pretty sure Aldon saw both Watt and Miller have standout games. Wouldn't doubt if he makes an extra push for Droy and is a little pissed about not getting the sack record. Either way, I dont expect Brees to be comfortable in the pocket like he was with the Lions (from what I saw).
Justin has been to the playoffs with Cincinnati.

its funny that the saints fans dont think the 49ers cant score a touchdown. 11th in scoring in the league with a conservative offense.

yeah look at how much hate Schwartz had for Jimmy Harbaugh.......makes you wonder what the other are feeling. The NFL is a good old boys network and a very tight small ship. Not much love for newbies and rookies. My guess and its just a gut feeling here is that these two Head Coachs HATE each other.

I thought they were going deep that year, that went down the drain real fast...

The weather will not be a factor in this game. IMO there are a couple of factors that will determine the outcome of this game.
1. Turnovers - you can say this about ever game though. 9ers are 1 in the league at takeaways so the saints will need to protect the ball.
2. Can the 9ers score touchdowns instead of field goals? The saints give up yards however they are playing good D on 3rd downs and scoring D. They've givin up yards bc they have played in a lot Of blowout games and they played soft late in those games in order to not give up the big play.
3. Can the saints contain Gore? Lately they have been playing good run D however Gore is a great back. I also think V Davis can be a game changer. He will have to keep the saints honest and not loading up to stop the run. The saints are deep at CB and Greer is very underrated so I think the saints will make Smith make some throws to win this game.
The 9ers have a great D but the Saints have been running the ball effectively and they have the best passing game in the league. Now, I don't believe the Saints will rush for 150-200 yards but the 9ers will have to respect their run game. I don't feel like the 9ers will be able to consistantly put pressure on Brees. Key word consistantly. They will make some plays, they are a great D but the saints have the best OLine in the league. They have so many weapons on O and drew will find the mismatches and the saints run game will keep the 9ers honest. I feel the Saints will put up 27-31 points on Saturday and the 9ers will not be able to match that. My prediction 31-13 Saints.
I'm assuming you're a NO fan so welcome to the Zone....
Now, on to some of your comments. NO runs the ball very well, and you have an multi-headed monster that works. During the last game Det had numerous opportunities to stop your guys quickly but failed to do so. Det missed numerous tackles on a repetitive basis which led to longer drives and more clock chewing. We do dont miss tackles, we are a 1 hit team that will drop you on initial contact while the rest of the D swarms. We have faced some of the best RB's in the league on a consistent basis and stopped all of them. Although Sproles is a monster Willis and Bowman are as well. Both are extremely fast and go sideline to sideline with lethality, they can run with and cover Sproles. Graham has had a great year but I've noticed most defenders try to sweep his legs, we tend to hit high. His ability to leap over defenders or keep balance on a s**t tackle has led to his success, again we tackle on initial contact and hit in the numbers. We have injured a lot of guys this year on hard hits that were clean, none of the D will p***yfoot like Det did.
Now we will get pressure but will only do it with 4-5 guys with a blitz here or there. You do have one of the best OL's in the league but we have probowlers all over the D. Justin and Aldon will bring non stop pressure and both are fast enough to run people down. RayMac although nursing a hammy is nationally underrated but is a great player and cause damage on his own. Although you may have some mismatches if we stay in the nickel you wont have much wiggle room. Again Willis can run with Sproles and Graham as can Bowman. Rodgers is arguably the best CB this year and Goldson at FS can do pretty much everything. Not a knock on your WR-TE group but we have played against Det's, NY's, Pitts, Philly, Cinci, and Dallas groups. You don't have a WR better then Fitz or Calvin not being a homer just being honest. The only thing you have better then what we have seen is Brees at QB. We have played against better DL's, LB's, DB's, RB's, WR's, and TE's, and possibly OL but you guys are great there.
Looking at the numbers you are not the same team outside and especially on the road. If this was in NO then I would say we are really f**ked but that's not the case. We have scored on avg 24 points per game and most of the year we had a thin group of WR's injured. We can put 21+ up on you guys, we have done it against better teams. Go back and look at what we've done the past few weeks, the RZ% has gotten a lot better since we started working on it. But the debate shouldn't be about the O but what you can score on the best D in the league. At home we keep teams around 10 points, granted I assume you get more then that but don't see you hitting 30+. It will be an interesting game none the less but the more you doubt this team the bigger shocker things will be for you. Players, teams, analysts, media etc have discounted this team all year and kept waiting for a massive failure....they never got it.
To put it in perspective the hardest game we played was when we played on Monday night then had to travel across country to Baltimore and play on Thursday...and we only lost by 10.

Weather won't matter, the grass is always moist at the Stick around this time of year due to the humidity/moisture levels from the stadium's infrastructure being a 'sea-level'. -Anybody remember the last playoff game in 2002, it didn't rain once throughout that weekend, yet the ground was still torn up by the end of the game (the groundskeepers also locked the lawnmower in the shed, and turned the water on).

he'll play. different leg than before, and they're saying its not as bad. he missed one game with the other injury and we had a week off this time.
i think he'll be fine, but i fully expect them to be cautious with a lot of guys this week.
