Niners should go to a 3-2-6 or 4-1-6 (Bowman as DE). Make the Saints run. Get them out of their comfort zone. Yes, they have a good running game. But the Niners have proven they can run with most teams, but not yet proved they can pass with the Saints.

Again - only one of those games was after mid-season. Very different team after mid-season than it was early in the season. But it'll be fun to see what happens.
Enough with this Saints offense vs 49ers defense.

How are the Saints going to stop Vernon Davis, Michael Crabtree, Kyle Williams, Bruce Miller, Gore, Hunter, and one of the highest rated passers vs the blitz!?
#AlexSmith home 62.7% 7.8YPA 5.7%TD 1.4%INT 99.8 rating.

VD and crabs and hunter are really only ones who can consistantly beat single coverage

KW willbe able to do more times than not

miller wont have much affect in pass game
I thought about using Haralson or Brooks but I just didn't think they were athletic enough. Couldn't agree more about making them 1 dimensional.

Big complex disguised coverages are key.

What if we walked our corner up on graham every time and just played man on him. Do zone behind that.

Yes, but they still have to account for Bruce Miller he is an x-factor. I wouldn't be surprised to see Miller Time catch a pass out the backfield. The Saints won't expect it.

hey huck and star, i wanted to ask you, was beating the colts 62-7 was the best success that bree's ever had? i wouldnt be suprise if u guys went out to celebrate that win.
This place is going to be ugly Saturday if the unthinkable happens.
I am so proud of our team, I can't wait for Saturday!!!!!!!!!
The thing is I think our front 4-5 is good enough to stop the run. We need the extra help in the secondary to take everything away and more importantly force turn overs.

Please Defense play with awareness and strip that ball as often as possible. If the Lions can force 2-3 turnovers on the Saint's there is no reason we shouldn't have 6.

I want to see a defense that is as dominate as the niners d in their last superbowl run with Deon, Hanks, Davis etc.. Our secondary better show up to dominate I want at least 2 pick six's in this game.

Just spend some quality time with the NFC champ 49ers today in Santa Clara. Very grounded group, seem well-prepared.

It was Nancy Gay
