unless i'm mistaken about the sequence of events and there wasn't a kneel down or any other action to end the play.

But Joe didn't just "run off the field" (his sideline) he ran straight out of the back of his own endzone....lol whatevs...just means cowgirls after all these years = suckerrrrs!

This video had the final dallas drive and 49ers kneeldowns:

if the play was dead, it really doesn't matter where he runs out. the next play hasn't started yet. the ball isn't live. by that logic, guys who come in after the play as substitutes, or, say, the special teams, are ineligible because they were out of bounds during the previous play.
if, if, if, if, if I had a dollar for every if then I wouldnt be here ifing.
that strip by stuckey and recovery by pillers still sends shivers down my spine! hope our front 7 can repeat that feat
Meh. A lot of assumptions. I can write fiction too, and goes to say the Niners, with the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths, come back the next year with a vengeance, go undefeated a win the Superbowl.

Bam.

I can has Dave's job now?
Best comment someone made on Dameshek's video:

"if he dropped it, the Soviet Union would have won the cold war"

My dad has a cool autographed photo taken from the outfield endzone of Stucky busting through the line on that play just before the strip. I know my brothers and I are going to be fighting over that one someday.
Why do people get so pissed over some guy's musings?
that segment was really REALLY out there, I dont know what drugs that dude is using but they must be good to come up with something like that.

IF my aunt had a dick, she'd be my uncle.
Or what if Bahr misses the game winner in the NFC Championship game
Montana would have just thrown a TD on the next down. No biggie.

Then I would have nothing but great memories of Roger Craig.
I love the N "if" L. It's absolutely meant to be silly and cleaver, and I actually thought this was one of the cleverest ones yet. Montana and Young still battle over starting spot in the UFL, that's pretty good. "Golf Coast offense", I got a good laugh out of that....

because.... back to the N"F"L, They went on to win 5 SB ... in 14 years

I'm ready for The Catch III
