Bahr missing the FG would have been interesting but more interesting to me in NFL lore would be:
What if Norwood made the FG?
I can't think of a more monumental and painful loss for a franchise than that, even as I was still reeling over the Bahr kick the week before and our 3 peat possibilities....and that was the worst 49er loss ever for me and I'm sure many others.
Bills win that SB and maybe they win 1 or 2 more. Definitely not ridiculed even if they were to lose the next 3. After SF gets the next ring or 2 I would like to see Buffalo get one.

BTW, I read in a 49er book on the '81 season that Walsh said if the pass was incomplete, next play was going to be a run. No sense in desperation was felt. 4th and 3 with 52 seconds to go with the legends at hand was very doable.
Imagine if the Catch was a 4th down play, or with no time remaining? That would have been crazzzzzzzzzzy.
ps - He also predicted before the game that he felt they would need 4 TDs to win the game. :)
