I have faith in this team, coaching staff, and Baalke. They'll do everything in their power to fix the issues. They will get the best out of the players we have. If that's not enough then changes in the roster will be made during the off season and giving this offense time is what it needs. It needs an off season. It needs time. We're still installing things and this offense will only get better with time even though it's having rough patches. We got to keep hard at it. I have faith. GO Niners!

We should have spread them out and used a quick passing atrack out of the gun. The max protect wasnt going to work bc we only had 2 Receivers goin out. It was good to get beat up and not become complacent. Next big test is Pittsburgh

Did Seattle blueprint the way for the league to beat the Ravens?
One game, people. One game. I trust the previous 10 for being more telling than the 1.

Anyone remember the OL play in the preseason...or last year? Remember how people said it would get better with time? As we all have seen so far in the first 10 games this year, the OL play was great. It's almost a given that this team will once again learn from its mistakes and get better.
This isn't a Nolan/Singeltary team.
Jim Harbaugh/Roman/Fangio all got out coached last night. It's part of the game and it will happen from time to time. Lets not forget that this a ROOKIE HC staff, regardless of how much experience they have. I think this game was a good reminder that this team, although VASTLY improved from the past, still has a long way to go to be considered elite....IMO.
Actually the defense played well. Ravens had one good drive all game the TD. Harbaugh needs to recognize that our offense is the problem 27th in the league not the defense 10th in the League.
I think it's a personnel issue. We may have a bunch of first round draft pics but that doesn't mean we have good players. Our WRs are woefully under-talented in terms of being play-makers. Outside of Iupati, this team is way below average at the OG position. Staeley and Davis are average OT at best. This a well-coached team, not a supremely talented team. I think it will take a couple of off seasons to get the Nolan-McClougan-Singletary bird poo off the wind shield.
Not only does what you say make alot of sense, the way you say it is outstanding--with a great, and funny, analogy.
Its gonna take some time to get the bird poo off the windshield. lol.

Like I said in other threads, we simply had no time to prepare, add to that the Snyder injury and the ANTHONY DAVIS injury and we faced a near perfect storm. This story backs up what I've said about why we struggled in this game. I can't believe people don't see the obvious.
"This is a team that needs to be coached, and I think there just wasn't enough time for the line to get ready for all the stuff that the Ravens like to do," said one team source. "I really believe that, if the team would have had six days to prepare for this game, they would have beaten Baltimore."
Not helping matters was an ankle injury suffered in the previous game that limited ORT Anthony Davis. "And when Snyder went down and Rachal just wasn't up to speed, things went downhill," said one source on the scene.

It showed. The announcers are saying they brought a jail break blitz and you see the replay and it was just the D-line basically running free at Alex Smith. It looked like Any Given Sunday and Smith was Beamen.

Time to look ahead. There's plenty of time to heal up and prepare for St. Louis.

Nice post. Best of all, because the staff actually has the team performing at 10/10ths we actually know what we have and thereby will know (for once) what we really need.

Yes, but let's be clear. At the start of the season with no prep time at all, who here thought that Harbaugh had installed pretty much anything?
You are right. Next season will be better. Trouble is, NinerTalk thinks everything should be done immediately. Or they start winging.
when the hell did you become an official Redcoat?

We are a team without a legit offseason and a rookie HC, and we are 9-2. We have vastly EXCEEDED all expectations.
True. Not to mention a mediocre quarterback and receiving core.

Every team will have a weak showing a week or so each season. One cannot expect to win each week. With the exception of the 9 sacks, it was s very close game. After 8 straight wins, a bad game was due. Do they learn from it will be the question.

Penalties lost us the game more than the o-line. -Take back Gore's chop-block, and Brown's DPI, the score would have probably been 16-9; 49ers.

5 of the ravens sacks were on third down. Tough to convert doing that...

They disguised who they were sending and where they were coming from and the 9ers were not prepared for it and never figured it out. They would stack the box to prevent the run and only send 4 maybe 5 rushers. Coaching could have been better. Alex was confused, oline and runinng backs were confused. It happens against the Ravens, especially there. Defense played well enough to win. Special teams played well enough to win. Field position was not a problem. A couple untimely (lagit) calls. Some calls missed against them. Its football and it wasnt that bad for the circumstances. What worries me is the divisional games that everyone has determined we will win. Who sweeps their division? Seattle THERE! Need to keep wining, who wants to go to New Orleans?
