Rider, my point is that if Ravens win it is an unfair win, due to a short week Thurs game, thru 3 time zones. That is just stupid azz crazy. And no it is not just making an excuse if we lose. You can bet Harbaugh is using this to motivate his team. "No respect. We have to earn it on the field...etc."

On a parallel point, I read today that teams do not just sit and wait for short week games like this. They look ahead and make plans all through the season so they don't have so much work to do in the short interval between games. Harbaugh was quoted as saying he would look into having game film played on the flight so in essence, the flight would become a big team meeting with position coaches reviewing game plans with the players. He sounded like he was not missing a minute of time.

Excuses are like a*****es. We all have one. Play the game and put away the Kleenex zoners.

This is the first year in a long time where we haven't had to come up with excuses. I'd like to keep it that way. The question should be, "what excuses will the ravens fans come up with after the game to discredit us?" It has happened with pretty much every single one of our wins already.

Still p.o.ed., I got up this morning and rethot this. Probably NFL network saw this as a good promo game , brother vs brother, and while they did consider the 3 time zones difference, they figured it wouldn't matter in a short week , because the 9ers would be bringing up the rear in the standings anyway... so likely NO thot was given to the 3 time zone difference on top of the short 3 day week. The fact that 9ers are 2nd best team in NFL, playing under the above conditions, no longer makes this just the first game between HC brothers, it has national consequence on the playoffs....who, where, when. I bet anything that never went thru NFL.nets mind. They booked a barking dog, and got two maneaters with teams to match.
