Wouldn't mind it if he did!

I don't know where this number came from but when this was reported on KNBR I heard a number of $9 billion. It would have to be a pretty big share at that price.

It's a 10% share at $9 billion valuation, so would have to be $900 million, no?

ABM. Anyone but Musk.

I wanna see the fanbase's heads explode lol

Musk is a creepy dude.

Politics aside, buying a minority share in an NFL team is probably at the very, very bottom of Musk's priority list right now.

And even if he WERE interested, and Jed's politics happened to align with his, Jed probably still says no just because of the inevitably distracting media circus that will follow. It will be like having Tim Tebow AND Kaepernick on your team, times a thousand, and no NFL organization is going to want that.

That makes more sense.

Interesting. I never felt that way about how it looks from the outside. I've only seen pictures on the Internet (and tv broadcasts).
But still, looks ok to me.

It looks like a roller coaster ride at Great America or something. It should look the outside of a sports stadium; not like you're getting ready to get in line at an amusement park.

Its skeletal outside appearance does leave a lot to be desired regarding Levi's….my guess is this was purposefully done so that in the near future they can encase it with a external brick "fascade" and fleece the SBL holders and any other suckers to "fund" the renovation by having their own custom brick with their name/message on it. 🙄 🧱

Yeah, it just looks incomplete.

And the way things are it could also just be temporary until the next stadium in 20 years. Maybe that one will be back in San Francisco.

Only six private equity investment groups have been approved to buy up to 10% of the value of a franchise. Those groups are HUGE in the money world. No individuals are on the list.

Here is the release from last August.

That's why these owners a filthy rich, they're no dummies, they know what to invest in.
Selling 10% of the team?
