Best owner in the NFL.
Supports his players, coaches and executives like few others. Leveraged the brand to turn it into a money-printing empire.
Cash will never be a problem with this franchise because of Jed's work to re-invigorate the business.
Jed can easily eat any contract (coach or player) that needs to be removed. And he can pay elite guaranteed money whenever necessary.

Yup. He found 2 guys with a lot of class and then did what a good owner is supposed to do and stay out of the way.

Tough to see Dr. York like that. He was awful when he ran the team, but losing a young son like that... I can't even imagine.
The Yorks have stayed the hell out of the way and hired the right guys in Lynch and Shanny. Even Paraag is off the radar for now. Props to them

I may be wrong, but I believe Chip Kelly's contract is now off the books (signed a 4-year deal in 2016), which means York is finally no longer paying any former coach or front office staff under Baalke.
