when did that happen?
lol.
no really, when did that happen. i am also searching for one example of that.

In the NFL winning solves everything. It will take awhile before Jed starts really earning trust and respect back from the majority of the fanbase but if the team continues to make noticable progress, people will start to respect him again a little more, a piece at a time.
I think for right now people are just excited about Lynch and Shanahan and are dialed into free agency and draft season so the Jed hate has taken a backseat for awhile.
Well said..
Just because we are respecting the head coach and Gm process does NOT mean we forgot about Jed throwing a Super Bowl away by holding on to lord baalke and the talentless, All Acl Crew and letting him undermine Harbaugh, Jed fires a head coach who has the most wins in the first three years of tenure in NFL HISTORY...........
We will never forget Aj Jenkins and the rest of those wasted draft picks. No one knows how much damage that decision cost us in 2014... Its definitely years... We didnt need to bury ourselves, it was self-inflicted wounds... It was dumb decision, no matter what. Yea he is trying, well we shouldnt have been in this situation, years of wasted draft picks...
We have made worst draft picks than AJ Jenkins in tha 1st round...

Is that statement suppose to make me forget Baalke's countless wasted drafted picks and flops
Is that statement suppose to make me forget Jed's arrogance and dumb mistakes??
Some posters need to get off that high horse if they think we should celebrate.. Respect the process.. Sure, there is room for optimism but lets not get on our pony's just yet..
Here's a reminder on how to piss away #6... DIYthanks to jed...
http://thebiglead.com/2017/03/18/jim-harbaugh-on-49ers-management-what-they-know-could-not-blow-up-a-small-balloon/
"Tom Crean was fired by Indiana, and as you may know, he is the brother-in-law of Jim and John Harbaugh. Sports Illustrated talked with both football coaches in the aftermath of that decision by Indiana. It did not disappoint.
Here's what Jim Harbaugh had to say:
"Much like my situation in San Francisco, the people that are doing the micromanaging … when it comes to building a ball team, what they know could not blow up a small balloon. In my case, an owner and a general manager. In his case, an administration. They are so similar in that way. And he still wins two Big Ten championships outright."
Harbaugh clashed with management over the final part of his tenure, and went through a lame duck season before leaving for Michigan. The results in San Francisco since his departure certainly don't contradict the "small balloon" statement, and the team is on its third coach in three years since Harbaugh left."

Yup he is getting all the hate for what he did these last couple of years. So it should be fair he should get some love if this team goes back to contenders.
To be fair Jed was thrown in way over his head into a tough management situation at the age of 25. At 25 y/o without any experience he was president of the 49ers!!! He was doomed to fail, but didn't know it. Yes Jed has acted like an arrogant prick, but that is normal for rich kids these days.
To his credit Jed wants to win badly, he will do whatever it takes to win. He fired Harbaugh because Harbaugh was a prick and his offense sucked. He was fooled by his best friend Baalke, who fooled many people and won executive of the year award! But he paid / ate ~$25 million to fire Chip and Baalke which most owners would not have done. Jed has learned a lot. Jed did a great job hiring the best coach and GM available. And Jed gave them unprecedented big contracts. So overall Jed is a great owner if you want to win games, because Jed will do anything to win.

Dan Snyder micromanages everything. He's trying to be Al Davis or Jerry Jones. Jed appears to be hands off and is letting his coach and GM do whatever they want. Baalke said that Jed gave him everything he needed and that it was totally Baalke's fault. Jed has made many mistakes, but I tend to be an optimist and I think he has learned from his mistakes. Only time will tell if he screws it up.

Time will tell but as of right now it's pretty safe to say that jed is a meddler in the snyder Jones mold instead of hands off when you consider his track record the last 4 year's

He was in charge of getting rid of JH, forced the coaching staff to turn Kap into a pocket passer, since they didn't want their 100+ mil investment getting hurt while running, on top of all the leaks he helped put out there, and making sure that Baalke didn't spent any money in FA since his pockets were "hurting" after the stadium and firing of coaches. He's no Rooney when it comes to staying out of things, and at this rate he will turn into a Jerry Jones in 20 years from now. Hopefully he learned his lessons and allows this new FO and coaching staff to do their own thing.

How will Jed learn?
Just stay the
away and let the appropriate people handle the decisions.
when did that happen?
