out of all our one year contracts who are you most afraid of losing?

Like many have stated, it has to be Rogers. Smith is finally having success under Harbaugh and Roman, no way is he foolish enough to leave. It's pretty clear he wants to succeed in SF when it could've been so easy to give up and go elsewhere. He's got a lot going for him and if this continues all season, expect AS to get a multi-year contract.

As for Rogers, he's should be a priority to re-sign in the off-season. I even expect Baalke to be aggressive and offer him a multi-year deal before the season ends. Rogers will most likely stay as a Niner since he's proving that he's not a hand-of-stone CB as he was labeled in WAS. His success is here in Fangio's D scheme and I'm fully expecting him to continue playing as a 49er for a few more years.

If we continue to win and do well in the playoffs the players wont want to leave. Should be easy to resign all of them if the winning ways continue.

Carlos Rodgers is hands down our top priority. Joshua Morgan is an all around solid reciever who will recieve an extension offer for sure (assuming there is no serious career threatening damage done from his broken ankle).

The only silver lining to Joshua Morgans injury is he will be alot more affordable if we decide to give him a new contract.

It is time to extend Rogers 2-3 years. We gave him 1 year and 4.5 million I believe. I'm encouraged by the play of T Brown, and Brock is a promising player. However Spencer hasn't returned to 100%. Solidifying our secondary is not yet complete. Culliver had a nice day yesterday, but if Rogers leaves everyone jumps up and spot and the group will suffer. 2 years, 13 million, or 3 years 19 seems like a bargain compared to what he could make if his play continues. He could make the Pro Bowl this year if the team and defensive success continues.

I'd list Smith #1 but I think he'll come back because he wants to, but I could see the others jumping ship.

I almost forgot about Edwards. I'd change that order to: Rogers, Goldson, then Edwards. But ALL THREE should be priority to re-sign for multi-year deals.

Everyone seems to forget that any player who signed a one year deal in 2011 cannot be extended in-season. The majority of the 49ers free agents will hit the market in 2012.

I'm in the "want them all back" group. Although, we haven't seen enough of Edwards yet to resign him for the amount of money he will probably want. But if he comes back from the injury and plays well the rest of the season, we could really use him.

Rodgers is the most critical to resign though. He is a good CB and could command a big payday in FA if he hits the open market. If we can keep up the current momentum and keep winning though, he would probably love to return for a reasonable paycheck.

Smith will be easy to resign. If he keeps up the solid play, he wont risk leaving Harbaugh and learning yet another system. If he finishes the season as one of the top 15 QBs in the league statistically, I say we resign him for 3-4 years.

Goldson is playing well, but wouldn't be too hard to replace. He certainly wont be worth big money. But he is the type of player we will want to retain for the right price.
