Ya know how on every play Alex is reading off of his wristband before relaying the call to the team? Andrew Luck did the same thing. The reason for this is that the word terminology for Harbaugh/Romans WCO is very complex so it takes a long time to relay the information over the Mic in Smiths Helmet. To save time, they have an abreviation code. Harbaugh gives Alex the shortened code and he looks up the actual terminology on the wristband before relaying it to the team. Pretty Cool.
2) I rewatched the Eagles game AGAIN yesterday and something seemed really odd about the game and I couldn't put my finger on it. It wasn't until yesterday that I figured it out. When the 49ers were making their comeback, the thing that seemed odd was the SILENCE from the Philly crowd. No cheering. No Booing. Just stunned SILENCE. I freakin' love it.
It's because they are insane

I noticed how quiet they were the second half.

Well if they did that same thing last year, they didn't do it very well. Getting the play in on time this year hasn't been a problem even once. I couldn't say that last year.

A third of the stadium had left at the half. And props to the brave, and loyal Niner fans in Philli - there were quite a few of them repp'n.

@1) That is cool. What's exciting is that Harb has never been in a situation settle his offense with the same people for more than a year or two. The turnover for players in college is so quick + they have school! Even from an objective point of view this offense is evolving week by week. It's starting to get pretty fun to watch:) with so much room for improvement!

Now that I think about it, I think Luck wore a writband last year, but there was so much information that his Center did too. ;-)

I rewatched the game too, and noticed on Vernon's TD, he was the 3rd read.
Alex is doing a great job spreading the ball around, everyone is catching balls and scoring touchdowns. Even Kyle Williams came of the bench and scored a TD in the Dallas game...
defenses are going to have a harder time keying in on one person.

I believe it was a number scheme:
1. Run
2. Run
3. Scramble/Sack

Ya...I know he wore a wristband, but its not always because of the Abreviation code. Its possible that they did the same thing last year, but they used the Numbers system which is much shorter....so dunno if thats what was done. Robinson made it sound like it was something new, so who knows. I just thought it was an intersting note. ;-)
