bowman is definitally biggest surprise but not mvp

i mean if we take bowman out of our lineup we wouldnt even see a drastic change in our D

We'll have to agree to disagree on this. Bowman and Willis cover so much lateral ground that it allows our outside lbs to get upfield without compromising our defense. The play Bowman made chasing down Vick on third down really stands out. I think Bowman and Willis may both occupy top ten positions for ILBs.

We have something like the 29th worst offense in the league. I don't think anyone should get the MVP on the offensive side. Give it to Iupati if you have to, because he is the only one that is playing top 5 NFL level at his position.

ST - Andy Lee

D - Justin Smith

And BTW, that 29th in the league has to do with YARDS not scores which win games. We are 13th in scoring. We are eighth in QB rating. We are fourth in completion %. Most importantly, IMPOV, we have only ONE interception tied for first. We had SEVEN at this time last year, seven!!!

That's why you have soooooo many issues, son. You just seem to always take the negative POV, get your panties in a bunch and disregard the happiness that can make you smile.

Shame, really.

there is a direct correlation between yards, scores, and wins. You can't have the latter two over time without the yards, unless you have a D and ST that is winning games for you. I'm sorry if you want me to throw a block party over the 29th offense in the league and less than 200 yards passing per game. Like I said, I think Iupati is our highest performing offensive player right now. If you rank NFL players by position, I'm sure that's how it would work out. Iupati would be our highest ranking offensive player. Last year Gore would have been, not this year I don't think.

No, not a block party. But after a come from behind (20 points I think) victory over Philadelphia in Philadelphia where a still gelling offense (4th game with Harbaugh if I am not mistaken with no mini-camp while installing the beloved WCO) throws for 209 yards in the third and then rolls over them with the run in the 4th I am thinking at least a small get-together of close friends would be in order.

There is an even greater correlation between being 3-1 and being in first place. The rams, every antiSmith posters favorite team, is what?

I agree with this. Guy has been a terror since the moment we signed him.

Best FA pickup of the past 5 years and maybe even the decade...I think it might be...am I missing anyone?
