I wrote this, so don't just go off saying "bleacher report, didn't read, lol"

And I know that someone will now...

Wow.. might have missed that article.. or just plain going insane... nice.
I have been quiet about this, but there have been many times in games this year where I have been asking myself... where the hell is Willis? He's been quiet, and I know that's part of the role he's now asked to play. But I'd sure like to see him making an impact pick or sack soon.
Do you guys think he's regressing or anything?
I don't think it that he's playing at a lesser standard, but more that he's being gameplanned by opposing OC's. I think Fangio is happy with that too. It allows Bowman, MacDonald, J Smith & Brooks to make plays. If having your best player occupying a lineman means it creates a weakness that can be exploited then that's what Fangio will do.

Liking it so far, but I don't like the part where you suggest Ginn won the week 1 game for us. While he sure helped, we had the lead prior to his returns. Doesn't feel right to categorize Braylon as a loser, but I guess in a certain light...
Overall, not an unpleasant read though.

Alex Smith. If he can play like this we can win 9 - 10 games.

I had to put Ginn in there... Who knows how that game turns out if Ginn doesn't swing the momentum back to us right off of the bat.
And I had NO idea who else to put in there as a loser. But you are right, it doesn't seem right to categorize him as a loser. That's why I put him at #4 or 5 lol.
But thanks man

Agree. He was all over the field but Bowman was getting there quickly and had more plays. Aldon had more plays as well. Can you imagine being an OC and trying to plan for the 9ers front seven? Next year if they can shore up the DBs they will be a top D...perhaps ever. If Spencer can be the third best CB and they can get a great CB and Safety in the draft, I'll be ecstatic.

Offense: Alex Smith
- All the adversity he's encountered this season, and the prior coaching changes, scheme changes, personnel changes, and fans and media punishment, he bit the bullet, resigned, and is finally showing flashes of the #1 pick in the overall draft. Poor offensive line, injuries in the WR corp., banged up Frank Gore...he kept fighting, and I hope he takes another leap next week against Tampa at home.
I am still skeptical, but if Harbaugh has strong faith in Smith, then there's no reason why I shouldn't feel the same.
Defense: NaVarro Bowman
- No one expected this kind of performance from Bowman during his first full year as the starting TED LB. I was reluctant to let Spikes go in the offseason, but the speed difference is making all the difference in the world for our 3 wins. Imagine if it was Spikes trying to make that stop on Vick...we may have lost the game at that point.
Special Teams: Ted Ginn Jr.
- The Brad Seely impact has seen results immediately. Ginn needs to concentrate better to ensure no fumbles, but he's shown his speed and skill this season.
