We should have made a move and failed. Another Baalke York blunder.
Exactly I know there just doing there "job" but they have really strong unimformed oppinions.. Greeny was wondering out loud why didnt we go after Hassleback or Young. The reason is kind of other obvious cicumstance (lock out) and Harbaugh needed someone to install his playbook. Why would he bring in a Hassleback or VY when you could possibly get the same results out of smith? You have to figure they would give smith one more year under a proven qb teacher. with smith the best case is it works out and you have a quality qb whose still only 27. Worst case is it doesnt and you get a high pick in next years draft not necessarily for Luck but to fill out some of the other holes on the team WR CB.while seeing what you have at other positions. To me its a win win and after all these years whats another year or 2 gonna hurt for the big picture down the line. And honestly other than Gore this team is still very young.

It blows I know but Harbaugh just got here im sure he wants to win just like everybody else but he cant have failures of past management and coaching effect his decisions or it will be the same results again... If you were taking over a company would you make split decisions just to make it better in the next 6 months or make decisions to make the company better and more profitable over the long term (winning) And no im not "ok" I live 35 minutes outside of philly so all I here is this dream team BS. I cant get a slice of pizza with out someone breaking my stones about the niners.

Yes, how many of our games do they see in any given year.
All those two ever see is the low light plays on ESPN, which puts all our players in a bad light. Arm chair analysts.

What I dont want to see is what Seattle did last year win the division with a piss poor record and a not so good team. Dont want a bad team drafting in the 20s when we could of drafted in the top 10. Need to win the division with a good team not a bad team.

Yeh heard the show. These two obviously hadnt done any homework on the team. Their combined IQ levels are that of a dead spider. I wouldnt put any stock into anything they said at all.

When taking over a failing company, you do your due dilligence before you aquire it, and then clean house once you install top management. That is what Harbaugh should have done.

theres no such thing as tanking a season. You can't tell players like VD, Gore and Willis to lose on purpose. They would ask for a trade and get the first ticket out of town

What move should they have made? There were no free agent QBs out there that were worth a dime.

Had the lockout not happen, we probably would have another QB at the helms right now...maybe a Hasselbeck or Kolb. The Lockout ruined the time to plan it out. Alex was there, Harbaugh needed someone to install his offense now. Hasselbeck would have been perfect. Thats why I'm kind of for Culpepper signing. Puts a vet with winning experience on the team that has WCO experience as well. If Alex doesn't win the first 2 out of 3, Culpepper starts. If we lose to Seattle at home opening game of the season....I will be devastated. That game establishes our season.

If we signed Hasselbeck, I would say 8-8. Right now, I think we are a 6-10 team.
