According to the NFL's transaction report, the #49ers have cut ILB Scott McKillop, who was playing behind NaVorro Bowman and Larry Grant.

They are toying with the idea of moving Taylor Mays to LB.

I'm not sure I understand the timing. Why not see how things go on the field first? Some guys are just practice all stars, and I'm not sure we're up against a roster deadline. Unless they think they're doing him a favor by giving him time to catch on somewhere else.
But whatever. He never stood out to me, so I guess its no great loss.

A lot of Webzone favorites are going to go down in the next few weeks. Gone are the days of keeping a player for potential, if they cannot contribute in 2011/2012, they will be gone.
Predictions of next cuts-
1. Kyle Williams
2. Adams
3. Moran Norris
4. Zeiglar
5. Parys Haralson or Ahmad Brooks (surprise cuts)
6. Tony Wragge (even though I think they should keep him) They will put Beeler (stanford center UDFA) on PS, Center Goodwin

You can't be serious?
1. Kyle Williams - yeah, could see that
2. Phillip Adams - doubt it, they are short of corners and would more likely put him on PUP or something if his recovery is holding him back
3. Moran Norris - depends on if that LB converting to FB can displace him - but yeah, wouldn't surprise me.
4. Zeigler - Yeah, sounds like some others are making a big impression
5. Haralson - maybe he won't fit the system and has maxed his upside, but Brooks, now way they cut him (Now watch me be wrong! LOL)
6. Wragge, now way, and Goodwin -- NO WAY, they just signed him to be the started and he's the only one with real experience!

1. Zeigler- no reason needed.
2. Curtis Taylor
3. Norris
4. Ginn- we have like 6 guys that can return kicks and catch better
5. Tarrell Brown
6. Snyder or Wragge.
