Not so familiar with the terminology that NFL.com uses...

If the Niners waived McKillop in anticipation of putting him on the IR, would it show as a cut, or a waive?

Waived is for players with 4 or less years in the NFL they must pas thru the waiver wire before becoming a FA

I'm sure the F.O will watch the waiver wires for a veteran TED Linebacker, unless Bowman and Grant show in pre-season they can get the job done

Aug 11 was a travel day. That is basically like a day off. How you gonna go and get fired on your day off? You gotta be a stupid MF**er to get fired on your day off

McKillop was one of the players I was most excited to see develop. Really hoped he would have been healthy.

Get used to a lot of players getting cut in Ninerland this year. In Seattle they continuosly churned the roster throughout the year. I think it was some crazy stat like 20 or 30 roster moves throughout the season. Carroll continuosly was trying to improve.
