Yeah, I don't pin this on Alex. He didn't play like his normal self, but he didn't kill us. He didn't give up those bombs to Fitz. He wasn't letting a backup QB toast him up and down the field. His receivers didn't give him any help at all (Delanie, how could you drop that ball??!!!) and the line play was below average.
I still think he held onto the ball too long during some series, particularly in the 1st half.
But he's not the reason why we lost.
His inability to throw TD passes in red zone is the reason we lost.
Could be, but where's VD? He used to be money in the red zone. And never throw it to Edwards...smh.

I agree we got outcoached in this game. I love Jim but a few things are really starting to bug me.
1.) Why is he still putting Braylon in there?
2.) Why Williams is not starting when clearly, he is playing far beyond Ginn and Braylon lately.
3.) No screen plays. Would take some of the heat of the huge pass rush we get every week.
4.) We never use trick plays on O. Would love to see halfback pass once in awhile. The D is stacking the line and db's and lb's are consistantly flying to the ball. This play puts em back on their heels and makes them think.
5.) Move Alex out of the pocket on more pass plays. Our oline still stinks and this would help them out.

I would run on 3rd and 1. I think it's the percentage play for this team.

How many open receivers did you see in the endzone? Our red zone play calling has been awful

Alex has no confidence in Edwards.

We tried two screen passes today, and both got us first downs.....and then, they were no where to be found.
I'm looking for my little lost screen pass have any of you seen him??

Once again, we got too cute. The obvious play is too simple for Roman.

Tell me about it. A lot of players MIA. But i still say the offensive coaches have a lot to swallow about this one. Any time you are 3-17 on 3rd downs the coaching and calls HAS to be in the discussion.

Roman tried to be cute on that third down. You can't do that with a mediocre qb and OL. big mistake.
