Suh talking some s**t...

sounds like overconfidence to me

They are going to get ran all over the field. They might start out good against the run, but come the 3rd and 4th qrt they will be winded from all of the runs to the outside. They have a couple of nice DT inside and the rest of their lineman are pass rushers. If you get to the edges on them then you can take Suh and the beef out of the game. Chicago did a nice job against them getting to the corner and Forte isnt a very fast back. They also dont have the best crop of talent on their oline in Chicago, and they definitely dont use the power formations we employ. Certainly Hunter can hit the edge faster then Forte can. The Lions are going to get taught a lesson in humility tomorrow.

I'm feeling you on this. We did come from behind in Philly on the road...BUT....Detroit at this point is alot better then Philly was when we played them. If you look at it, CJ is basically Staffords "go-to" guy. If we can stop the run and isolate CJ....we're good. They will probably have their yards....but aren't we rated #1 in redzone defense... .
3 out of 4 analyst on NFC Playbook picked the 49ers to win the game. Oh great, now we have expectations to live up to.

I sure hope so, I am hoping their entire team is over confident on this game.

I hope they're overconfident and we go in and hit them in the mouth they'll be like "is this real life?"

I worry that the time difference will prevent that punch from the beginning though. Didn't we start off slow against cinci? I really want to give them their first loss though
Scott Tolzien fleeflicker to alex smith for 3 yards.

To be fair everyone starts out slow against Cin. I think they are the number one rated defense in the NFL.

Wow, thank you Jahvid, that was easily the best thing you could've said for our team's sake.

What time difference? the 49ers got into detroit last night, they have a full day to recover from jet lag, and they have a 1:00pm game. i dont think the timezone difference will be an issue at all.

Also, i liked the mixture of singletary and "drowsy dentist kid" quotes. lol

Isnt that standard for all teams? West coast teams have a horrible record in east coast early games, I hate it

This is the 2nd comment I have heard about someone alluding to the fact that the 49er game starts at 1pm. This game is in Detroit which means its an east coast game and east coast games get 10am start times. Am I missing something here? The 49er game will air at 10am PST?
