Didn't see anything posted in Niner talk about it on the first page, and since it happened 20 minute ago I thought it would be there. Mods can post it in the generic thread if they want, or keep it up if its better to spread to the word and prevent other pop up "new contract" threads.

i would much rather have smith who has better hands and ballhawk but with goldson we essentially ave to SS he is great against the run and although he has great hands his coverage is suspect
anyone agree or disagree hopefully ed D can help with his coverage

Nothing wrong with adding another safety to the mix. Goldson vs Reggie Smith for the starting FS spot. Goldson should be somewhat humbled about this FA process and his value.
