getting RG3 and Garcon is one hell of a thing to go to, Roy Helu looked solid, their defense was top10-15 by the 2nd half of the year. If they can just not f*** it up the Skins will be challenging the giants for the NFC East with 2 years.

I say let Morgan go elsewhere. If the Niners really wanted him, he'd be signed by now. My biggest problem with Morgan is his lack of separation. Flat out he doesn't get off the line fast enough and he's slow (and that was before the broken leg). Big bodies receivers are fine but if we are to keep Alex at QB for the next few years we NEED to find a way to get some team speed ie receivers that get separation. Right now, the only receiver who does is Vernon.

Moss will definitely help in this capacity so Morgan is expendable. Plenty of fast receivers in this years draft to replacement Morgan so this is no big loss at all.

Wasn't Morgan a 6th round pick? This is his first opportunity to get a big pay day, so you can't really fault him for taking the money. If the 49ers wanted him long term, they should have signed him to a major contract last year - when he would have been happy getting that million plus signing bonus a year early.

Maybe this insane spending spree is helping people grasp the reality that the 49ers aren't going to go after any high profile FA WR's.....not after Garcon just got like 8 or 9 million a year. Supposedly Vincent Jackson is on his way to becoming the highest paid receiver in football, like $13 or 14 mil a year with the Bucs.

Also just saw a report the redskins want to sign 3 new wr's and are looking at Eddie Royal. In all honesty I'm glad we are not going and acting like retards in FA. Sit back and make the right calls.

In 2-3 years Redskins will be back in cap hell and will be dumping guys left and right just to get under the cap. This approach has never worked for them, yet they keep pulling the same retarded s**t over and over.
