Who should start at linebacker opposite to Willis this season?

Playing opposite linebacker to Patrick Willis means every team will target you and stay the hell away from Pat. If bowman isnt ready we are going to suffer a weak spot that other teams will consistently target. I like bowman and i think he can be a pro bowler linebacker someday but i want to win now and im afraid he wont be ready for that responsibility. Im not sold on Applewhite or McKillop at all. But i believe Rocky McIntosh (redskins) is available, who recorded 155 tackles and two sacks last season. He seems like a good consistent guy to anchor down that spot for a year or two until bowman flourishes. 2 year deal...im sure he will be cheap. What do u think?

I think it's Bowman's job to lose, but we have only had 5 days of practice. I'd like to watch them on the field in preseason first.

Patrick Willis doesn't even need another ILB to play next to him... Willis just allows another ILB to play because he's a team player.

Books may actually be the best suited. He has played in the middle before and was moved outside to get him on the field.

I love Bowman's Name. if he hits what he's aiming for it's a perfect fit.

49ers should just go with a 3-3 (three linemen, three OLBs) set and let Patrick Willis go wherever the **** he wants.
