Okay props to management for getting the right coach, but a good signal caller and a dominant pass-rusher and a big time Corner and we could easily win the west and possibly get to the nfc championship game! Because the coach himself will account for three to four wins just by out coaching the terrible coaching in the nfl now a days.

He's right. We still have the most talented football team in the division and have been held back by inept coaching.

We need a QB, a pass rusher opposite Brooks, a corner, a guard, and a wideout to go opposite Crabtree. If we had a QB and got a pass rusher I'd say we are a 10-6, 11-5 football team. To be in contention for the superbowl, we need all 5 of those things.

Also have to look for a replacement for Gore soon, as he has about 1-2 years left at high caliber max.

I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but that's a lot of s**t. However, I agree completely with you. We need a QB, pass-rush and CB and I think we will at the very least win the division and get a home playoff game

It's VERY unfortunate that there's a lockout it's going to hurt the 49ers a lot.

I think a good coaching staff is going to show us SIGNIFICANT amounts of improvement overall. However, with no time to implement the offense and mentality of JH, we're probably looking at a sloppy 2011 season if there is one.

QB, FB, OG, maybe C and DT cause the lockout, Passrusher for sure, at least 1 CB, at least 1 safety
