What would Niner fans be saying if the Niners took Rodgers and he'd have been thrown to the wolves and Failed...They would simply say Why did we draft Rodgers the guys a BUM...remember the Niners even were thinking of trading away the #1 pick and noone wanted it.

In the End...A Rodgers got to sit and watch as much as I CANT stand him watch B Favre for a few years on a talented team and learn hat was going on while A Smith got thrown into the fire with a team that had NO Leaders NO Clues what to do. and a coaching staff that had no clue what was going on...And NO Im not an Alopogic or whatever you all call them...Im just looking at what would have happened had A Rodgers come here ...not much different than A Smith given the talent he would have gotten here instead of in GB.

See Brandon Lloyd immense talent but no direction and work ethic because he followed T.O's lead. What I am saying is tutor our current player instead of talking how great thing where or could have been if we would have drafted Rogers.

After 6 years no excuse for smith matters to say rodgers woyld come here and fail too is ridiickulas...talent on the field shows and reguardless of who you have around you flashes of that talent should show up after 7 years. Rodgers is a nfl claiber qb and alex is not even if thrown on the patriots team he would never reach the superbowl...knowing that we should have cut ties 2 or 3 years ago.

And to think how Terrel Owens might have carried on for Rice had he stayed and not developed such personality issues.

I learned the 1st two routes in high school...the third one is trippy, never knew it even existed. I don't think even after days of practice, you can run that route quickly enough for a QB to get the ball out in under 2.5 seconds.

OK So what you are saying then is that the Niners in 05 to now have just as much talent as the Packers minus the QB? Hmmmm outside of V Davis and maybe Gore where do they matchup even in anything...the OLine? A Rodgers would NOT do well if he spent most of his time running because the defenses were about to kill him.

Now please explain to me WHY my statement is as you say RIDICULOUS that A Rodgers would fail. How do you know the coaching staff wouldnt have screwed up Rodgers as they did Smith. Please explain what I said was ridiculous...

This is an interesting segment with Deion and Jerry. Jerry explains the three different ways that he ran a slant. I found it very interesting when he mentions that Aaron Rodgers should have been the 49ers quarterback.

Should have been on the 49ers...wow. I love Jerry but it's not like us taking Smith at 1 was controversial and its not like people were jumping all over Rodgers. He got taken 20 something picks later.

Here's what Steve Young said recently.

People don't realize coaching and continuity is pretty much to best thing for young QBs. Rodgers had the best of both and Alex had the worst.
