Ralph and Tom asked their infamous question to decide if he was going to be successful. If you're on Defense on your own 20 with 1:30 left, the offensive team bust through the line, what do you do?
Without hesitation, Jim said "You let them score."
Ralph and Tom celebrated. They said they've asked coaches that question, and they say "I don't know". Jim said he teaches that to his teams, and they (stanford) were in that situation this year. They were on offense and their player sat on the 1 yard line to end the game instead of scoring. They asked the player why he did that, and he said "Because coach told me to."

Yeah, he answered immediately.
What I got from Harbaugh after all these interviews was that he is a preparation-freak. He is gonna be ready for anything on gameday!

It is so nice not cringing when you listen to the propaganda of an impostor.
This conversation sounds so natural. I dig.

I seriously have no fear of the bumbling and stumbling at the end of the half/game. No more poor clock management, and wasted timeouts. He knows what to do and when to do it. Maybe being a QB helped him understand these things, but he seems to actually know WTF he's doing. Something we have not been accustomed to.

We are finally going to get some strategic football at Candlestick. I'm pretty stoked about that...
