You guys obviously never spent much, if any time in Texas. There is a whole litany of those there, such as "the only thing running down the middle of the road is a yellow stripe and dead armadillos". Folks in california never really ever had a chance to get down. They're wound too tight, and have no idea that there is something else other than California out there. Parochialism, i believe you call it.

Hmm, maybe i made this too difficult. We need a HOFO or GM tomorrow, and we need to be ready to take the ONE best HC out there come end of bowl games, this sun nite, whether it is college HC or nfl HC. We need to be able to try for the best one or ones, and we need to have a GM in the fold before sat or sun nites to make that choice. There, is that simple enough?

With the Rooney Rule in effect, I'm not sure any team could hire Harbaugh on Tuesday morning since a minority candidate has to also be interviewed. It would seem that unless a team has already done that, every team starts at the same point on Tuesday. It's whoever moves faster to comply with the Rooney Rule.

Yeah, for the GM spot but I think that they also have to interview a minority for HC as well. I also read (Barrows or Maiocco I think) said that Big Mike does not count.
