OK, Eddie told Jed to slim down the Front Office. Also, with the CBA negotiations likely to be protracted, creating a compressed training camp and the loss of 2-7 games from the 2011 season before negotiations are complete (Jaworski forecst), Jed will want to further pare down the payroll for this off-season>
I see the Front Office as follows:
Four Senior Execs
1. Jed York - Owner
2. Trent Baalke - GM
3. Paraag Marathe - Chief York A$$ Kisser
4. Mr x - Head Coach
Every other executive will be released. Only the field scouts and low level (cheap) staff will be maintained for PR work and such.
Anf if that Mr X - Head Coach turns out to be Harbaugh, look for a short-order trade to obtain the back-up QB from Tampa Bay, Josh Johnson, whom Harbaugh coached-up at USD. Josh Freeman is clearly "the man" in Tampa Bay, and Johnson has no starting opportunity there. I would expect the Niners to offer a suitable draft pick to obtain Johnson.
