for those of us that have half of a brain, we realize that unless we make it to the Superbowl there will be no continuity of mediocrity. Singletary will be fired, Alex Smith will move on and be successful elsewhere, Gore will attempt to come back but will not be the same back, Dixon will share about 50/50 with Gore, Crabtree will turn into the next TO crybaby WR and all will be unpleasant in ninerville.
So Crabtree will end up in the Hall of fame?

Crabtree will be calling for a trade before we know it.
I'm sure he will, just like Vernon was going to be such a huge problem here.
I never thought VD would be an issue.
No but he was acting way worse than Crabtree and then he matured and is a great TE. He's only in his 2nd year, and people act like we should be so quick to dump him when we've given other players on this team more than their fair share of chances.
VD never acted like Crabtree by any means. VD's problem was that he was kind of selfish in his game. He didn't take to the team mentality. Crabtree seems to be like a little kid in that he pouts when he doesn't get his way. Big difference.
You're right Crabtree gets a lot more 15 yard penalties for Unsportsmanlike conduct than Vernon.
I guess you didn't read my post.
Where does Crabtree pout? I didn't see him pout today. He was right there with Morgan to celebrate after Morgan scored. Vernon acted like a little kid for his first couple years that he was here too.
Let's see, when he didn't get top 3 money he pouted and held out, he didn't want to go through TC so he pouted, faked a neck injury and sat out, he wants his brother Troy to be the QB so he pouts about it and drops passes.
VD didn't by any means act in any way like Crabtree has. Like I said, VD didn't buy into the team mentality. He was all about himself(in his game play)
