At this point what do you care about most?

I care about winning! We have 4 games left and yes, it is very easy to see the embarrassment that has gone on this year but at the same time, there is not one team in the NFC's "elite" that we have not been competitive against except for that Green Bay game. Stupid mistakes and missed opportunities have cost us some tough games to some tough teams.

If you want to say we don't deserve to be in the playoffs, then fine, but tell me out of the NFC West (regardless of your belief, there will be a representative) who deserves to go? The Rams? They lost to us (enough said), the Seahawks? I'm sure they could get a win playing in Seattle in that first round but who knows with that team either? Why NOT us? Right now, we would play either Green Bay or NY in San Francisco and yes the Giants front 4 is tough, but who the hell cares? Anything can happen when you strap on the pads on Sunday. It's that simple. Like another poster stated, we will NOT be picking 1st so get Andrew Luck out of your system, the panthers will not trade that pick away and if they DID, it would take damn near the whole draft and we are just not a QB away.. if anything, they will shop Jimmy Clausen for some draft picks and then take Andrew Luck (if they were smart).

We just need to win, that's all there is to it and I think we will see a solid, convincing (winning by at least 2 scores) win this week vs the Seahawks.

My mind says: offseason, new coach, new staff, new QB...new ERA.


My homer heart: We somehow, someway win out and make it to the play offs for the 1st time since 2002.


Unfortunately, with the Niners...the mind usually prevails.

All I care about is winning, winning the division. Just winning, and more winning. I dont care if we shot our self 3times in the foot during the game, just as long as the score line at the end of the game is us winning.

Agreed, except I like the option of having both! Win first playoff game(so I can finally go to one!), get blown out in the second, then clean house!

1) Singletary getting fired

To be honest, I dont think the Niners have what it takes to get to the playoffs. Besides that, I am hoping if the Rams end up making it, that the FO sees that a rookie QB could come in and win this division with the talent the Niners have. The Rams do not have the talent the Niners do, but they brought in a good rookie QB and he has played well for them.

It was clear to me after game 3 that the season would be a disappointment. Of course, I kept watching and cheering and hoping and praying, but unfortunately, all the flaws that I saw in the first 3 weeks have only been magnified over time.

That's a long way of saying that my focus changed from "winning" to "how do we fix this?" a long time ago. What I care about at this point - the only thing I can care about - is "will ownership have the balls (and the brains) to make the necessary changes in the off-season?"

Going 8-8, winning division, and limping into a 1st. rd. KO of the playoffs..

So sad , even if we can sing and we are going to hopfully , Next year we will have a new HC , How many years we are going to give him to get us to the playoffs and the new qb how long will be on who is making the decision to pick is it the same dude ? or the new HC going to bring in his own person ?

so we are looking @ 2-3 years of Next year will make the playoffs or be good and don't forget there going to be a lockout next year are they going to hold the Draft ?

Although I give them a good chance to beat Seattle (it's payback time), I think the best they'll do is 6-10 for the season. I don't see them winning in either SD or St. L...but whatever the record is, I want Singletary gone. Period.
