That said, going with Alex at this juncture is just plain old desperate, and just another in a long list of Singletary's bufoontard antics. I suppose it shows that he really does still want to go to the playoffs/save his job, but there's a time and place for every move and he's about 2 or 3 weeks too late on this one. That's about par for the course as he usually takes somewhere between 2 and 3 times longer than the average human being, to realize he's running uphill when there are easier paths to the left and right of him...that reminds me, if Sing's "hill of destiny" or whatever the F is still there, they should flatten it after he's gone. F'n stupid mantra created by a F'n stupid man, and it's a F'n stupid hill
Maybe the next slogan can be "work smarter, not harder" and the team can sit on their asses all day watching film. The mantra's meet somewhere in the middle and create a superbowl I would think
Phase 1: create the bravado laden mantra. Phase 3: CHAMPIONSHIP! It's so easy, it must have been overlooked by thousands of coaches
Anyway, I just completely tried to derail myself, but I'm not going to let...myself
The point is, I think we're all fairly resigned to the distinct likely hood that Alex won't be here next year. We're going to have to play good-great TEAM ball and come out of the remainder of the season with a flawless record, which I think we can all assume is an impossibility with captain dipsh*t at the helm (Sing not Alex, I actually like Alex believe it or not). What the hell is the point of giving Alex playing time over Troy when we haven't even fully evaluated Troy for next year??? Oh that's right, we're winning the division
I forgot...Gotta give it to Sing, he truly will never stop trying. I think if he goes down to the collegiate ranks he'll make good. Recruiting is nearly everything at that level and I'm sure he'll be one of the better one's at it. It's just too bad we had to be the one's to go through his guinea pig run, just to find out at the end of it that he really has a lot of work to do before he catches up to the modern game...that and he has issues letting his damn staff do their jobs; let's hope for his next team's sake that he figured that one out.
