Where was Willis?

The Niners defense did a pretty good job stopping the run, you guys didn't see Willis completely blowing up the lead blockers? Plus it didn't help that Rodgers made a living yesterday spreading it out, and attacking the corners.

Just because a guy didn't come up with any highlight plays doesn't mean he had a bad game.

Willis wasn't a factor because our coaching staff is DUMB lol. They came out throwing the ball at a ratio of 30-10 and we KNEW they were throwing yet we still did nothing. Then in the 4rth quarter all they did was line up to run the ball and yet we didn't adjust to that and they then ran the ball down our throats. They converted on how many 3rd and 1's when they coudln't do that against the Falcons the week before. It starts at the top we need all new coaches sorry but Poopusky is the most over rated coach on this team. Fire the HC the OC and the DC and bring in fresh guys as well as a new WR coach while your at it.

We start there and we plan through the draft + free agency, our offensive line will only get better because it's all young talent along the entire line and we can all agree they looked pretty decent against a formidable pass rush! They had their weak moments as always but they are very young and full of upside so I'm not worried about them. We need a quarterback but I don't know if we should start there with so many holes on this team.

We need a QB, a RB, a speedy talented WR to pair with Crabtree and make this offense LETHAL. On the other side we need a miracle lol other then Willis I don't see ONE PLAYER that would start on a quality defense around the league. We need some outside backers as well as a top flight safety to ballhawk in the secondary and lay the wood, oh and we need two cornerbacks Clements days are numbered and Spencer is a solid nickel.

The defense and coaches are the same as last year..the problem is the HC. sing is really holding this whole team back

Patrick Willis had a bad game against a good team it reminded me of how bad he played against chiefs this was another game we couldnt stop the pass or run and the defense being on the field all day was tired. I know patrick willis is good but on the other hand our secondary sucks especially reggie smith he missed at least ten tackles and gave up on play after he missed tackle on donald driver 61 yrd td pass. Reggie Smith is the new mark roman why in the hell wont we play Taylor Mays. They say reggie smith is better in coverage but I need a ss to play strong the boy cannot tackle that is the one thing I know taylor mays can do. Our secondary is the slowest in the nfl Taylor Mays ran a 4.3 in the 40 yard dash we need his speed and aggressiveness in the secondary that right now looks like we have no playmakers period.

i'm starting to get sick of the excuses on how teams game-plan against willis.....people don't think ray lewis still gets game-planned against? i know it's a different position, but even clay matthews? COME ON MAN!

Look as long as the entire D-line can be blocked one-on-one it doesnt matter who you have at MLB he will get locked up. Look at Ray Lewis the Year before Ngata was drafted. Lewis was smart enough to tell his coaching staff to draft him because Lewis is a real leader. They need a pass rusher with a real motor on him and it will pull the D together. The CBs arent the problem because you cant expect them to cover forever out there.

I would rather have Mays in the game than Reggie miss a tackle smith. You can hate on Mays all you want Ronnie Lott and Rod Woodson said he would be great strong safety. I think hall of famers Ronnie Lott and Rod Woodson know more about what it takes to be a great safety than you do.

To me it looks like Willis lost a good 10 lbs and that is why hew is getting owned by FBs. Look at him in pads....he looks like an undersized OLB not a solid MLB. Speed isnt everything, especially for a MLB.

Tackles aren't really truly indicative of how well a linebacker plays, just like INTs aren't truly indicative of how well a corner plays. But that's just me, I didn't pay attention to everything Willis did out there.
