Nothing that he's noticed himself, or been told by a player says that Sing's lost the team.
He also said he has no idea why this is the case, since obviously there's reason for it to happen.
I see no evidence that he had lost the players. Just fan-talk.

According to Barrows the players still like Sing, but it does not seem like a good thing for the team. There appears to be a lack of both fire and leadership in the locker room.
Long ago I worked at a restuarant where we had a chef that most all the employee's
liked and respected,
but he wasnt very good at controlling costs or creating good menu items
We were behind him,
but we also knew that the owner would need to upgrade that position
if the restaurant intended to become successful

I heard even after this past loss to Tampa, players using them same old Singltaryisms about watching the film and not beating themselves and yack, yack, yack. They need to fire him now before the other teams who have already started their coaching search don't get too far ahead.
What the players say on the record show little to nothing about what the truly feel. What they truly feel, some go and tell off the record to certain journalists (aka dadgum Yahoo).

I agree this team needs leadership from the players. We need to make some roster changes in the off season to get rid of the culture of loosing. There will be some long time vets that well be let go. We still have too many Nolan guys on the team.
I doubt the niners are giving up trying but in highly competitive events it depends a lot on faith in your fellows and sound plans. None of which Sing has ever provided and he is nothing but a bellowing buffoon who drives his players into trying too hard and screwing up. I cannot see this situation existing much longer as players will give up knowing other coaches get that playing for Sing is like playing for the dumbest baboon on the planet and hire them just for the fact that nothing done with Sing means much.

I wonder if the fact that the team has not been elimenated from winning the division still gives of the players some hope that not all is lost yet. I wonder too if the players still believe that they control their own destiny with so many divisional games left to play. A loss to Arizona could start some disention. I would have thought that the lack of adjustments made in games would have made the players more disatisfied with the coaching staff by now.
