Do you guys think the locker room is starting to divide? The losses are mounting and we could very easily finish 6-10 or so. Will Sing lose the locker room before then?
It almost looks like people are starting to point fingers...
Players say - not making adjustments, not attacking enough
Johnson says - not executing
Is it possible we get a revolt similar to how Dallas gave up on Wade Phillips?

When players start to talk but want to remain anonymous, it's not a good sign. But really the player comments are the same stuff writers have been pointing out for weeks. Maybe that's why players feel it's ok to speak out now. But no matter how bad this team has been I never got a sense that they gave up like Dallas. Of course Sing might just be the guy to accomplish it with the way he operates.

I can't believe players haven't quit on him yet. It has been obvious for a while he can barely play checkers when the opposing coaches are masters at chess.

Rod Brooks was talking the other day on his show about this. He says he is pretty close with a lot of the players, since he travels with the team as the sideline reporter. He said he hasn't heard anything about the players giving up on Sing. Nothing that he's noticed himself, or been told by a player says that Sing's lost the team.
He also said he has no idea why this is the case, since obviously there's reason for it to happen.

Not so sure he's lost it completely. I heard even after this past loss to Tampa, players using them same old Singltaryisms about watching the film and not beating themselves and yack, yack, yack. They need to fire him now before the other teams who have already started their coaching search don't get too far ahead.

In all seriousness Singletary is too much of a players coach so despite how bad he's doing I don't think he could ever lose the locker room

Yeah, the players know that he does not do his job well. I never knew how extremely important the head coach is until Sing came in. He single handedly loses games.

i kinda agree with you.But losing will change that. Every player wants to win 1st and foremost. Yes we hear about the money. but doesnt do a job for money? I think sing just needs to let go and let these players just play the game.

It's starting to rear it's ugly head and quite honestly, it's a sight for sore eyes. Until last sunday I thought there was absolutely no killing this teams trust in the coaches and family spirit, but after that debacle against Tampa it's apparent that I was wrong...and I'm glad.
This coaching staff doesn't deserve that kind of unwavering loyalty, as their own distrust and misuse of the players and their abilities, coupled with sheer lack of effort by the coaches to formulate professional game plans is nothing less than a betrayal of the players. This team busted their asses for 2+ seasons and kept nearly every loss within striking distance just to get hung out to dry week after week, and finally in their darkest hour by what can only be described as the worst coaching staff in the game. Disgusting
I thought a few players on both sides of the ball sort of quit on the field last sunday and I guess that's the origin of this coaching staffs clear case of poopy pants, so I suppose I understand where they're coming from as far as that goes; nobody likes a quitter. What really pisses me off is the backhanded way the coaches are trying to deflect this scrutiny onto the players, as if the team hasn't taken enough sh*t from the media and fans alike. What a bunch of horrible sob's.
The headline article proves that the team is starting to turn away from this coaching staff, as they rightly should. Change is a comin' if we lose on MNF to the worst team in our division. Not even the York's can ignore this any longer.

IMO I have noticed this happening over the course of the last few games. The players level of effort seems to lessen earlier each game.

One of the comments left by one of the readers (parodying Mike Sing):
"We tried our best to counter what they did. We even tried running Frank Gore up the middle a few times. After we realized that was not working, we decided to run Frank Gore up the middle because in my mind, Tampa Bay wasn't expecting it. By the 4th quarter, the play action and draw play up the middle with Frank Gore was not working at all. We decided, and you all can BLAME me, was that the best course of action would be to continue to run Frank Gore up the middle. Frank Gore was our best option because as the head coach, and make no mistake about it, I am the head coach, I made the decision that Frank Gore running up the middle would eventually work for us based on what Tampa Bay was doing, that is stacking 9 players at the line of scrimmage daring us to run, which we did, we answered their challenge and in my mind, did very well. We only lost by 21 points, and the playoffs are just around the corner. I really believe this and I think the players will play better next week on MNF."
