I think right now all of them have the potential to be worth the draft pick, with Anthony Davis, Mike Lupati, and Taylor Mays to have the potential to be long time pro bowlers.

I think so. Under the right coaching I think these players could have made a bigger impact right now. These players need coaching, not motivation.

But one problem I had with the way he conducted the draft was that he didn't use the flexibility two first round picks bring a team. If it was the patriots, I am sure they would have accumulated more draft picks by manipulating the draft more. the 49ers had the leverage but didn't use it. Moreover, not drafting a corner in the first three round was a joke. We all knew it was a position of need. For some reason they didn't address it.
Hang on, New England can do that because they are a strong team. Last year was a good draft and our needs were many. I don't call that not using leverage, I call that sensible management.

It is too soon to tell at this point. I suspect/hope their is wholesale coaching staff turnover after this season. So we'll have to wait another season to see.
One thing for certain. A good coaching staff has the framework of a system which is tweaked to maximize the talents of the players, not to force a player to fit the system.
Good coaches get the most of a players talents. But not Sing or his coaches.
Singletary doesn't get that. He has only the one philosophy, play tough, physical Lombardi style football. It's not even a system as much as it is an extension of Sing's Caveman approach to Football in general. He has no plan B. That is who he is and how he is wired.
So what were are seeing is the Rookies being forced to fit the Singletary philosophy. So we'll have to wait a couple more years and see what the next coaching staff does with this crop of rookies.

Every pick made the roster, so that makes this a decent draft with the potential to be a good to great draft.
A. Davis is starting to look like he was picked too high, but RT was such a major area of need it's hard to fault them for being aggressive and moving up to get the guy they wanted. I would have been ecstatic if they had done that to get Oher last year.
Iupati, Byham, Dixon all look like great picks at the spots they were taken.
Mays, Williams, Bowman and Phillips are still question marks.

Yes...if Baalke/York decide to fire Singletary and implement a WCO zone blocking scheme and convert to a 4-3 D.
And here's why:
- The mantra for the O-line is power this year. Singletary's mindset reminds of the nerd in high school that always outsmarted the roided up jock. Singletary is the stupid jock while the nerds are the rest of the NFL coaches. The offensive line will do better if the rely more on zone blocking schemes rather than using man blocking schemes to just push and shove their way for a few extra yards. You could potentially salvage Rachal this was as well.
- Bowman is a fine OLB in the 4-3, and currently a sub-par TED LB in the 3-4. With Aubrayo Franklin a UFA, and no legit pass rushers, the 49ers will utilize more talent with the shift starting with Bowman at OLB.
- With a new offensive system, the team may consider using 4 WR sets, allowing Kyle Williams to see more action on the field - specifically in the slot.
- The 4-3 system, Mays can still be used as that in the box safety.

Cosigned, I been saying we need a WCO and to switch to a 4-3 for a while now.

It's way too early to tell. We aren't even through the rookie year. But from what I see so far we got some good players and some question marks. Anthony Davis is sucking bad and concerns me deeply. But it's super early and he is real young so I will give it some time. Iupati looks good IMO.

Rookies are just that rookies they are in there first year of learning a new system, understanding the game is a hell of lot faster than college, and there opponent tends to have pretty decent football smarts. There still trying to remember plays, audible, and all the different schemes that they have to face defensively. Our OL are facing sh*t they never saw in college and frankly can’t just play because they have to think so much. Add to the fact they are getting horrible coaching and you can see there growth being impeded.
You have to give these guys 3 years before you can call bust not after 7-9 games (unless of course it is Rashaun Woods).

I'm 100% happy with the draft, 0% happy with the coaching.
