I know... I was implying that John York is dumb about football... Jed York made a dumb football decision... genes decide characteristics... sperm carry genes... John's sperm fertilized Jed's egg... it's the sperm's fault that Jed made a bad football decision.

See? Get it? Aren't I the most funniest guy you ever knew?

Ok... I just wanted to say sperm.

1. Not being a man of his word (Jimmy Raye)

2. For involving himself at all with offense (has no ideas to contribute)

3. For consistently being underprepared (Seattle, KC)

4. For signing David Carr as backup, and allowing him to be #2 all preseason/season to date

5. Being over emotional and displaying erratic, disgraceful behavior (local interviews, player interaction)

Can I instead choose to just cry?

Putting all his eggs in Alex Smith's basket was his biggest mistake and will prove to be his down fall.

Sing's downfall began when he fired Martz. I said at the time that it was a bad move.
singletary is the mistake
Not resigning for the good of this football team.

No. Mcnabb blows, they were right in not giving up early picks to get him. We don't even run a WCO.

Anyways, back to the real issues, Sing's philosophy and his hiring of Raye. It's interesting to see how Chicago is doing a lot better than expected due to Martz. I wasn't exactly for keeping Martz over every other option, but the failure of Raye really highlights how much of a jack@ss Sing really is.
Wasting timeouts in the FIRST quarter.

Firing Mike Martz after the 2008 season. Big mistake. I don't care what philosophy you want to use. Martz is a great offensive mind. If you want to win, you have to score. It's not a 17-points-is-enough-to-win-if-you-play-great-defense kind of league any more. I think that was a terrible move. Especially in the face of not having an established guy to replace him with. Please. Don't give us that identity load of crap, Mike. You screwed the pooch.

I thought they balanced each other perfectly at the end of the 08 season. And then Jimmy Raye
His inability to make half-time adjustments and their lack of discipline (which he constantly preaches and obviously doesn't teach.
This may come under game management, but Singletary sits on leads. The 49ers rarely score when they have a lead.

None of those work but......

Allowing Alex to take him down.

Did Valrod and Redwood have a baby?
Where's the option for leaving Alex in until he got hurt?
