dude.your whole comment just defeats itself. you admit it is not Smiths fault yet you open by blasting him for throwing. from watching the video it is obvious it is A. Davis who is at fault. smith was reading the correct reciever as best as can be told by video on nfl.com. he begins his throw before pressure broke the line but A. Davis whiffed so bad Smith was hit before releasing. the line should do there job so smith can do his. he is paid to throw and the line must provide the time for that to happen.
If you just want to bash smith because you dont like him....use the fumble as an example. 
but yeah. horrible call. horrible fine. somebodys got some explaining to do.
Perriera will find some way to Spin it to the League's favor. he always does.
