Thread starter, this is not directed at you but i'm wondering why so many people keep marking the London game against Denver as a win. Not just a win, but I keep seeing people comment as if the Niners don't even have to show up. Kyle Orton's numbers are better than Brees. He's top 3 in most statistical categories. I know we have owned the Cards in the past, but they always play us tough regardless. And lets face it, St Louis gives us fits no matter how bad they suck when we play them in St Louis. Bradford is out playing Smith. I just don't see us finishing better than 9-7. 8-8 if we are lucky.

Am I the only one kind of rooting for the Rams? Now that our season is in the s**tter, it's nice to see a bad team successfully rebuild. If we don't pull off a miracle, I hope they win the division.

Meh. After all the s**t talking from Seahawks and Cardinals fans, it would just be funny to see the Rams own everybody. And I don't think I've ever met a mean Rams fan, they've always been pretty nice to me.

So ya, if we're out of it, I don't have a problem rooting for them.

I don't know why, but I've never really hated the Rams. But f**k the Cowboys, Packers, Cardinals, Seahawks, and the (newly added) Jets.

I can understand not hating the Seahawks (they were in the freaking AFC not too long ago), but the Rams? That rivalry has history, man.

Just because they've been in our division for years and we play them a lot doesn't mean it's a rivalry. There has to be competition. It seems that when one team is up, the other is down.

Now the Cowboys, that's a rivalry. Championships were decided by who won those games.

There's no need to compare this to the Cowboys rivalry. Can't a team have multiple rivals?

I hate the Seahawks because most of their fans I've met have been complete a*****es, and they acted like they were so great for winning the division for a couple years. Same thing with the Cardinals.

I'm not from the Bay Area, so maybe I don't understand the rivalry. And yes, I think a team can have multiple rivals, I just don't consider the Rams to be one.

To be honest, I've never considered any team in our division a rival. I dislike the other teams, but I don't think there's a rivalry with them, nothing compared to the Cowboys and Packers.

well, i moved from SF to LA in '87. it's a f**king rivalry. i do not know ONE Niner fan that would ever root for the Rams. EVER!!!! you should just turn in your screenname and go join the Rams fan forum. i'll say it again, disgusting.

I don't know, I don't feel like it makes me less of a fan of my team based on the way I feel about other teams.

Smith - 1229 Yards 62.1%COMP 6TD's 9INT's, sacked 10 times. QB rating 71.6

Although Bradford will definitely be the better NFL QB no doubt.
