Brandon Lloyd is leading all receivers. They will have Knownshon Moreno back by then. It's marked as a home game, but it's over sea's, so it's a ROAD game. And we suck on the road. I realize Denver is not a powerhouse, but at 0-5, and seeing how this game is not being played at the stick, I consider Denver to be heavily favored. Especially since our secondary is so weak and the complete lack of a pass rush. I thought this team could go 10-6 if they could steal either the NOL or ATL game. They failed to do so. Not only that, they lost to Seattle and Philly. At this point. I think we lose the Denver game, the Green Bay game and either one AZ or STL game. I know we have owned the Cards in the past, but they always play us tough regardless. And lets face it, St Louis gives us fits no matter how bad they suck when we play them in St Louis. Bradford is out playing Smith. I just don't see us finishing better than 9-7. 8-8 if we are lucky.
Bradford - 1159 Yards 56.7%COMP 6TD's 8INT's, sacked 11 times. QB rating 66.5
Smith - 1229 Yards 62.1%COMP 6TD's 9INT's, sacked 10 times. QB rating 71.6
Although Bradford will definitely be the better NFL QB no doubt.

lol that's bad.
Am I the only one kind of rooting for the Rams? Now that our season is in the s**tter, it's nice to see a bad team successfully rebuild. If we don't pull off a miracle, I hope they win the division.
yes. you are the ONLY Niner fan rooting for the Rams. disgusting!
Meh. After all the s**t talking from Seahawks and Cardinals fans, it would just be funny to see the Rams own everybody. And I don't think I've ever met a mean Rams fan, they've always been pretty nice to me.
So ya, if we're out of it, I don't have a problem rooting for them.
guess i'm too old school. it's in my DNA to hate the Rams. just like it's in my DNA to hate Cowboys, Packers and Dodgers.
I don't know why, but I've never really hated the Rams. But f**k the Cowboys, Packers, Cardinals, Seahawks, and the (newly added) Jets.
how old are you?
This.
I can understand not hating the Seahawks (they were in the freaking AFC not too long ago), but the Rams? That rivalry has history, man.
Does it really though?
Just because they've been in our division for years and we play them a lot doesn't mean it's a rivalry. There has to be competition. It seems that when one team is up, the other is down.
Now the Cowboys, that's a rivalry. Championships were decided by who won those games.
Why do you hate the Seahawks?
And you're aware of the SF/LA rivalry that encompasses nearly all aspects of life, right? It doesn't even matter if the teams are any good!
There's no need to compare this to the Cowboys rivalry. Can't a team have multiple rivals?
I hate the Seahawks because most of their fans I've met have been complete a*****es, and they acted like they were so great for winning the division for a couple years. Same thing with the Cardinals.
I'm not from the Bay Area, so maybe I don't understand the rivalry. And yes, I think a team can have multiple rivals, I just don't consider the Rams to be one.
To be honest, I've never considered any team in our division a rival. I dislike the other teams, but I don't think there's a rivalry with them, nothing compared to the Cowboys and Packers.
well, i moved from SF to LA in '87. it's a f**king rivalry. i do not know ONE Niner fan that would ever root for the Rams. EVER!!!! you should just turn in your screenname and go join the Rams fan forum. i'll say it again, disgusting.
You wouldn't root for them if they made the playoffs? Come on dude, worst to first! Everyone loves an underdog.
I don't know, I don't feel like it makes me less of a fan of my team based on the way I feel about other teams.
If the Rams played the Cowboys I would be rooting for an asteroid to hit the stadium. I don't hate them, or anyone. But they are our divisional opponents. Rooting for them would be like cheating on your wife.
Are you one of those fans who start hoping we lose so we get a higher draft pick? Can't stand em.

If the 49ers win the rest of their games and the other teams lose the rest of theirs', the 49ers can win the division by 8 games! (Not going to happen)

3-5 before the BYE.
6-5 (or 5-6 worst case scenario) by Week 13. Then we got ourselves a race for the NFC West title. Granted the Hawks, Cards and Rams play poorly.
This is not impossible.

it really is as simple as eliminating turnovers. 3 turnovers a game will screw you every time.

Who has the better team around them?

You guys kill me sometimes
Exactly, lets get one win first, before thinking about 3 game win streaks out of an 0-5 team.

I'm not gonna get sucked in to this but he said Bradford has outplayed Smith and Smith has better #'s. That's it.

Before the season started a lot of us were expecting a 10-6 record and a trip to the playoffs. However, irratic play and our win-loss record is rapidly taking us to the point of no return.
Will you still hold out hope if we lose another close one to Oakland, or will you consider this season a lost cause? Vote and tell us why.
