Is Season Officially Lost If We Lose To Oakland?

Now, I'm not confident in this at all, but the season is not totally lost yet. The state of the NFC West makes it POSSIBLE that we could sneak back into this thing (though highly unlikely. The games until our bye will be critical, in the sense that we have to win all three. But consider the next three weeks and records that could happen: Week 6: OAK @ SF (a win gets us to 1-5) SD @ STL (come on SD! STL record 2-4) SEA @ CHI (a SEA loss gets them to 2-3) AZ bye Week 7: SF @ CAR (winnable even though a 1:00 on the East coast. Gets us to 2-5) AZ @ SEA (gotta root for SEA at home. Would make both 3-3) STL @ TB (a Bucs win puts STL at 2-5) Week 8: SF v. DEN (in London. A win gets us to 3-5) TB @ AZ (Can't expect too much, but a TB win puts AZ at 3-4) SEA @ OAK (Again, no gimme, but a loss puts SEA at 3-4) CAR @ STL ( a loss puts them at 2-5, win makes STL 3-4) After our bye in Week 9, we have 5 division games, and with a little momentum - who knows?. I'm just saying that its not over yet (though a loss in the next 3 weeks would pretty much seal it. Hopefully the NFC West maintains it's ineptitude for a few more weeks!

They have to win their next three games, period. Oakland is going to be like a road game because the home crowd will be absolutely brutal. The two after the bye are really easy. If they can get back to .500 with 6 more games left, they should be ok.

The Offense can't go through Gore either, it's just not gonna work. It's gotta be through Alex that we win.

Am I the only one kind of rooting for the Rams? Now that our season is in the s**tter, it's nice to see a bad team successfully rebuild. If we don't pull off a miracle, I hope they win the division.

Meh. After all the s**t talking from Seahawks and Cardinals fans, it would just be funny to see the Rams own everybody. And I don't think I've ever met a mean Rams fan, they've always been pretty nice to me.

We need to quit worrying about the playoffs and live in the present

Presently we are 0-5

We need to beat the Raiders first and then go from there....

Don't worry about 2 weeks from now or 3 weeks from now

Same here, it's just an example of what can be done when you have good coaching, defense (up until last week vs. Det) and solid O-line and QB play, gives me hope that the next few years might be different for us if we can get our s**t together

I don't know why, but I've never really hated the Rams. But f**k the Cowboys, Packers, Cardinals, Seahawks, and the (newly added) Jets.
