Is Willis hurt?

Another average game by one of my favorite defensive players. The rest of the defense played lights out today, Willis was lingering around in the middle of the field and not very involved.

he has to have some lingering affects of the knee surgery. He just isn't flying all over the field making plays like he normally does.

Multiple plays I saw him just standing around and not going after the ball.

Give me a break with the "it's the D line's fault." Patrick Willis is the best middle line backer in the NFL, he's been hurting since the Chiefs game. Watch the film from the Saints game, the guy was all over the field, plugging holes, making tackles. From the Chiefs game on he's been tentative and unable to drive through his tackles. If he's not hurt, then I'm really worried.
Our defense is built around Willis making plays so when we struggle it's because he's struggling. I hope he gets healthy and/or we find a replacement for a couple of weeks so he has time to heal.

I think he and a lot of the defense have been "walking" or going half throttle a lot this year. Hard to believe a guy with Willis's past would let the fame go to his head but it could be. Like Stoney said, could be a tear that he isn't telling anyone about. You never know... Another thing could be our LBs being in coverage all the time. Not sure why we are sending Lawson on coverage all the time and not rushing. Haralson shouldn't be in coverage at all but has been. Willis seems to be dropping back a lot too. Guess OCs are figuring out how to take our best group out of the game.
Edit: He's not playing bad but he just isnt' getting sacks, ints, forcing fumbles and making as many tackles as we where use to last year and in the past.

Maybe the bye week should help. A lot of it has to do with the D-line. Don't overreact at least they didn't run all over us like Philly did. A non running team.

Does anyone else see Willis is a lot slower or sluggish in the past three weeks. Hope he gets $hit turn around we need him and I don't want his 99 rating to go down in Madden.

There is definitely something going on with Willis. Replays clearly show it. He's not the same guy. The most logical guess is injury they're concealing. Hopefully, he'll get a chnace to heal and get back to the Patrick we're used to.

I think offenses against us, are planning more to take Willis out of the game so he doesn't impact the outcome of the game!!!

I don't understand why you guys think he's hurt. Read the article above. For those fans who don't like reading articles, offenses are keying in on him to take him out of the plays.
I also think offenses are also trying to exploit our defense's aggresiveness, and that is probably causing Willis to be more cautious and less aggressive. I also think that he does such a good job of covering that offenses are not throwing to his coverman: hence, the ball is never thrown to the covered receiver that would create a potential INT or TAK for Willis. I find it really hard to believe that he would be secretly harboring a serious injury. Common sense dictates that a player of this caliber would not jepordize his whole career just to play in a few games.
There is also luck involved in how many tackles a player gets. It is hard for any ILB to get a tackle before another defender does when offenses throw the ball or run the ball to the outsides.
Willis is among the top 3 ILB in the NFL, but that doesn't make him God (he can't be in more than one place at the same time).
