What I noticed against the Eagles

Didn't Willis have knee surgery this offseason? Maybe he's got some lingering issues?

That could be it. I definitely think its an injury or something, there's no way his play would decline this much otherwise

Alex and Gore are equally responsible for this loss.

Gore is overrated. our team is evidence of what happens when you base an entire team around an overrated RB.

He doesn't look like himself, that is for sure. Still.....he's better than most ILB.

While I agree that Alex had a decent game and had only one mistake... the mistake he made was CRITICAL.

In a season where we've lost three games in the final minute by a field goal, I would say a dumb fumble that gets returned for a TD is a HUUUUUUUUGE mistake.

Put it to rest. He isn't overrated, he just had a bad game behind an awful offensive line. He is doing great in pass protection, and receiving the ball out of the backfield. It's just that our line is getting no push so he's got nowhere to go

Yeah it was, but I'm saying that it was just really bad luck and not a reflection of his skill. He's made mistakes this season and in the past, but outside of that fumble I thought his decision making, accuracy, and composure today were impressive

to me is coaching... hearing Steve Young comments and watching the game its like when we are in a two minutes drills and when we have to play aggressive Alex play his best, when he is calling the plays or we are more aggressive we play much better, I think we seriously need a offensive head coach and for the remainder of the season for coach sing to just let the offense run without his involvement....

and the defense is very little creative, we are not fooling anyone... its like we have 4 plays and everybody knows what they are, the eagles has a injured football team who travel from the east coast, with a new qb and KK was not fool on any play... he new exactly what the niners defense was doing or at least their coaches knew what we were doing and had a great call for it....

I think we are getting out scheme on defense and on offense we need for coach sing to just step aside and let Alex and MJ run the offense...

also I let alex play, he gives us the best chance and he has shown true leadership not because I say it but because of the reaction the players had when coach sing bench him, he is definitely one of the leaders on that team... but if it clear we have no chance to go to the playoffs then I call nate and see what he's got...

He made some nice throws tonight, I didn't see any that were considered poor. His decision making was solid for the most part, his only mistake being that fumble which was just a physical mistake which happens. He showed incredible resilience during the game, being able to withstand the crowd like that and lead back-to-back scoring drives really impressed me.

They can't move anyone. Gore looks fine, he hits the hole hard when there is one. Anthony Davis got schooled on multiple occasions, and also had some false starts. He doesn't look ready to play. Nothing on our O has changed significantly since last year (when we were solid with Alex) EXCEPT for the o-line. This unit is not jelling.

3) There's something wrong with Willis

Some of you have noticed this, and some of you refuse to believe that our All-World future HOF linebacker is not playing up to standard. He seems slow, out of position, and sometimes uninterested. I have a hunch that he is playing injured because he seems tentative and doesn't hit the hole like we are all used to seeing.

4) We don't blitz enough

Self explanatory

5) The spread/shotgun offense needs to be implemented more regularly

I'm not saying go all Urban Meyer on O, but use whats working best EARLIER in the game. See: Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots. These teams use the shotgun to take advantage of their special players and put them in space.

Everything I agree with except I can't give Frank a free pass anymore. Yes the OLINE is unstable but great running backs usually make their bad line look good. At least bounce it to the outside sometimes which Frank does not do. He seems to have lost it a bit this year and therfore the running game continues to sputter. Time for DIXON!

The biggest problem i have with Alex is that he has been on the league for 6 years. Regardles of losing time while being hurt he should know there are some decisions you just don't make. I have never seen this guy have a turnover free game, whether the team wins or loses. Those bad decisions are all on him.

As for Willis, I agree. He seems slow and lacking punch. I am thinking he is hurt or not at 90-100%, but I would not be shocked if he lost interest along the way after listening to his HC's constant BS.

We should have never taken two O-Lineman in the first round and to expect two rookies to make your O-Line better was foolish as well. We should of taken one O-Lineman and a playmaker (defense or offfense) with the other pick

yeah cause three years from now it could be the best OL in football who does that lol

injuries forced them to change the line they need Heitmann

they need five guys to play multiple years together see Pats, Colts, Pitts, KC both NY teams Min, NO

this team has had a different OL every year for as long as I can remember
