What about one touch for Westbrook. Turned into a 19 yard gain, and the longest offensive play at that point in the game.
After the play, I half jokingly noted that it would be the last time we saw Westbrook for the game.
LMAO at being right.
The entire coaching staff needs to go. Bring in Gruden and just initiate a purge.

Wow, I truly thought this wasn't going to be yet ANOTHER Alex smith bashing thread by Afrikan.
If we play another team that stops the run then it looks like we're going to have to try something else. How about Anthony Dixon? That dude looks GOOD. I hope he gets on the field more.

This was a tough win against probably one of the worst teams (and the most anemic offenses) in the league.
Do not take victories over the other NFC West teams for granted. Today's win still maintains our division gap btw.
Next week is another poor team, but we're playing in Carolina, and frankly if you ask me, we're the underdogs. Especially with the mistakes you'll see in execution and the horrible playcalling.
Just remember, Gore ripping off a 64 yarder is like winning the lottery now. It is not a consistently reliable offensive game plan....but they are stubbornly sticking to it, and I think this game will instill some false confidence in Singletary that this plan is a good one.

Glad to get that elusive first win, but the offensive line is just plain terrible, I hope they get better.

Alex still isn't the answer
If Gore doesn't break off that big run, we lose.
The OL is terrible
Sing still doesn't understand Xs and Os
Johnson's playcalling is mediocre at best
We need to use Dix and Westbrook more
the D is average
but hey, we won!

It would help if the OLine blocked. Those first 5 possessions Smith was running for his life on every single pass. If I do recall Smith had a nice little chat with the OLine about their blocking. They didn't go lights out after that, but they did perform a little better.

Complete downer of a post, but entirely acurate. Bluntly, the only thing that was different today was the quality of our opponent.

Maybe with a win under their belt, the team will play up to their potential from now on
This team just needs to start believing again. Sometimes it looks like some players just don't care out there.

The credit for this win is more on the fact that the Raiders made more mistakes than us making clutch plays.
