I've said many times I believe he will be our "interim" head coach and then Jed will trot out next offseasn and say he is the new HC full time and there is hope and change and a bright future and such...

I posted a thread during the offseason asking whether it would be a good idea to go after someone like Mike Shanahan or Mike Holmgren because they were both WCO guys (which taliored to this team's tradition) and would be better coaches than Sing because of experience (especially QB experience).

I pretty much got burned for being a "hater", "troll", etc. for not supporting Sing and Smith.

Oops, guess I was on to something, especially since some former players are coming out and claiming that Sing and his coacxhing staff like to "wing it" on gameday....

All this talk about Kool-aid makes me want some now...

Anyway, I found the hire to be interesting considering how much knowledge this guy Sing has about the game and, how he could use that to help our team. Strategically, mentally, and physically. I'm still confident with Sing because I like his attitude, not the one he displayed when he went , but his attitude meaning the way he speaks about what he wants from a team. Every 9ers fan has heard that "I want winners" speech and that's what I believe, got people to respect him. As of now, that respect has probably gone down a lot, but as said in another forum, "this is the time we find out the die-hard fans from the wannabe's." The people who wanna simply hate Sing and the people who wanna actually discuss ways he could do a better job.

So go 9ers!! and let's get this sh** turned around!

I drank it and liked it. Mainly because I felt this team was talented enough to be a winning team. I felt all we needed was discipline and motivation. 2 things Singletary can clearly deliver. However, Singletary's inability to perform basic functions of managing a game and his devotion to the Forrest Gump of offensive schemes has me seeing the light. Not to mention the way he handles the media and throwing his players under the bus.

i didn't hate or love the hire but I brought in

I liked the hire, and still like the hire, but I'm incredibly disappointed that Sing has not developed as a coach in 2.5 years.
