Coaches or Players?

It's both. folks are gonna say it's the coaching only b/c they think hey all we need to do is change coaches and this team will win next year. Sorry but that's just a pipe dream. The secondary needs a total overhaul minus Spencer. Both OLB'ers can't rush the passer. On offense it's obvious the qb needs to be upgraded. The o line is super young, Chilo is terrible, and Staley is getting beat every week. And the biggest problem is no speed at all on offense. What does Crabtree run a 4.7? I seen Maclin and Harvin both running past folks yesterday like they were shot out of a cannon while Crabtree can't get any separation at all.

Add in terrible coaching and clock management and you get a 0-3 team. Raye is just not up to snuff as a o coordinator. Manusky isn't terrible but he isn't great either. He plays way too passive and it's been 3 years of screen passes killing this defense. Not one adjustment has been made. Singletary seems way in over his head. And the front office is a joke. I mean exactly who is the guy who steps in and steps up and makes the tough decisions. think about we have let Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary run this team the last 8 years. That's just laughable. Get a real football guy to run the show.
Let me say this to all fans, the Jets, Dolphins, and Ravens all have the same philosophy as the 49ers, they just execute it better. Miami ran the ball and ran the ball and the Jets ran the ball but the Jet qb did get the ball to Braylon Edwards and he did get the ball to his tight end even though the Dolphins knew he wanted to get the ball to his tight end. The Jets come out and basically try to knock people off the ball and play defense. It works for them because their players execute whereas the 49er players do not. Our offensive line needs fixing and you might need to change the starting lineup at 3 positions on defense. Atlanta is beatable but you have to sack the qb and the 49ers can't let Roddy White beat them. I think it's more the players as a problem than the coaches.

It's all of those and more.

I totally agree.

The coaches job is to put our players in the best position to win games. So far this season.......that hasn't happen. From Game-planning to clock-management....

I strongly believe - even now...WE HAVE THE PLAYERS...
