Theres a bald horse running around somewhere!
The reason why I asked this question is its EASY to complain but HARD to come up with a solution!

beat you to it.

Not start A. Davis. Move Staley to RT. PLay Sims at LT. Sit that pansy Rachel. Not have brought Raye back and looked for a real OC. Have that OC balance the offensive playcalling. Handle the sitting of M Lewis like a man instead of going through the media. Mays is clearly better then Lewis now but Lewis deserved to be treated with respect. Same think with TKO and Bowman situation. Not embarass N Davis for having a bad preseason game. Pull my pants down more. I could go on and on....................
It is hard to come up with a solution but it's pretty obvious that playing conservative only gets you in a situation where you may have a chance to win at the end or may have a chance to lose at the end. In our case, we have done majority of the losing at the end. I'd deal with losing if we played lights out meaning, we tried to put up points....

I have too much integrity. I would have resigned. I have no experience as an NFL coordinator. I feel this makes me unqualified for the position.

yup, it's pretty obvious under MJ that this team has some offensive potential, Sing ruined it.

its actually not that hard. If I were coach of this team i wouldn't have retained Jimmy Raye, or, if I did, I wouldn't have demanded that he run the ball 90% of the time. I wouldn't let Frank Gore dictate strategy or personnel use. I would have read some books about coaching/strategy, and would have spent the entire offseason talking with other head coaches/former head coaches about strategy and other job-related things in order to better myself as a coach. I would have benched Chilo Rachal six weeks ago and replaced him with Snyder. I would have benched Anthony Davis three weeks ago and replaced him with Sims.

I can't speak to what Singletary does in his day-to-day coaching because, obviously, I'm not there. So just to make blanket statements: I would be more prepared. I would adjust better in-game. Not waste timeouts. Demand more creativity from my coordinators.
I would ask what Singletary would do, and do the opposite.

What would you do or have done differently? I want legitimate answers about things that can be controlled and are under your control. Don't say things like "dump the QB cuz he throws too many picks" without having a better option at QB or "teach the DB's to secure to ball better at the end of a game" thoughts?

First of all, I would have never gotten rid of Shaun Hill unless we were able to get someone better to come here. There's no way I allow Hill to be shipped off and David Carr to be picked up. Why downgrade at a key position? Second, I would have fired Raye in the offseason and looked for someone who can actually call plays. Third, Alex would have been benched after the Chiefs game. Fourth, Anthony Davis would never have started the season. I would have went with Alex Boone to see what he has, and if he bombed, I would have sat him for Barry Sims. Fifth, Chilo Rachal would be riding the pine for the rest of the season. Sixth, I would have made sure we got Michael Westbrook and Anthony Dixon more touches because it would give the defenses different looks and make them change up their packages and calls. Seventh, believe it or not, if I was Singletary, I would have tried to learn some X's and O's. You know, like a COACH should.

Do I need to continue? Because I can go all night.

We seem to give it up with TO's more than anything. What I can't figure out is we seem to march right down the field on our opening posessions but then we can't do anything after that?

lol. Well, the players are certainly seeing the dark abyss now, so...maybe you ARE coach singletary?
