when we were blitzing Ryan, our D looked sick. We backed off on that final drive and it proved to be fatal.

One move they made this year that I do like, is moving Nate in the nickle and dime.

What amazes me is how our defense always gets smoked when we go conservative, yet we continue to do it time and time again. We really do have incompetent coaches that can't seem to correct their mistakes. Or do we? I have a feeling it is Singletary who calls for the conservative D in crucial situations, just as he does on the offensive side of the ball. That might not be true, but it wouldn't surprise me the least bit.

He did learn from Mike Nolan.
Hire a real HC and step down...
Absolutely agree with blitzing, the strength of our secondary is tackling, not coverage. Force the ball out quickly and wrap up to minimize the damage is the way we should be playing
-bench smith

-dump david carr and add n.davis to roster

-play troy smith for a game, then maybe n.davis

-actually use brian westbrook and anthony dixon

hahaha some people won't let go of the Nate Davis thing. He is on the practice squad for a reason!

No doubt. And we need to take advantage of our speed now that Mays is on the field. I want to see Mays getting in on the blitzes a couple of times a game.
keep shooting myself in the foot by starting Alex Smith.
Changes i would make: OL Eric back at center move bass to RG and bench chilo (too slow not enough push )

WR Morgan to bench in favor of anyone with heart ( morgan dropped a big 3rd down didn't try for the long ball and on the 15 yard out also didn't come back to make a play on the ball)

Bench MORAN Use the RB's we have 3 good ones do you know how hard it would to defend west and gore both screening to the flats??

On Defense: bowman needs more burn he is good and fast i like spike but on 3 down it should be bowman

Sorry but T brown shouldn't be on the best WR not now not never

QB...i give alex one more game just like he did for hill % games to prove your worth if not lets see what carr can do!

BUT foremost the biggest change we need is HC sorry sing your yelling and screaming doesn't do anything we need to bring theWCO back in the form of GRUDEN2011!!!

The reason is that 49ers coaches are idiots who can't properly evaluate the QB position ergo, Alex Smith experiment year 6 and counting...

Do you want to put David Carr who is immobile behind our O-line? Do you honestly think Troy Smith is ready to take over the offense? Get real people! Smith hasn't even played that bad! When we call plays that work for him, he delivers. We need to spread out the receivers and have Smith light the field up. We've seen him do it before, now we just need to start doing it consistently.

Smith is no different than our defense. There are some things that work for him and it, and there are some things that don't. Sadly, our coaches like to dial up the things that don't work just as much, it not more, than the things that do work. This is a coaching problem more than a personnel problem.

Yes. Troy Smith was finally developed to start for Baltimore. Troy Smith can make a presnap read and check it down or scramble if that read doesn't go as planned.
1. Bench Alex.
2. Devote extra time during the week on ball handling drills and other fundamentals.
3. Get Westbrook involved!!!!!!!

Let me edit that for you:

1. Bench Alex.
2. Devote extra time during the week on ball handling drills and other fundamentals.
2a. Tell Spencer not to blindside anyone during these drills.
3. Get Westbrook involved!!!!!!!
